The space:
Three-level river home with 4 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. The first level includes one bedroom w/queen bed, a twin daybed in the sunroom, one full bathroom, and one half bath. Because of the age of the home, the stairs between the first and second level are quite steep (original to the 1900s added construction) and should be navigated by use of handrail with caution. Additionally, there is a spiral staircase off the back patio to navigate to the second floor as well. Guests with mobility issues are recommended to choose a sleeping arrangement on the first floor. The 2nd floor includes a bedroom with a king bed, a bedroom with a full bed and twin bed, and a 2nd full bathroom with a washer and dryer. The third floor is an expansive open-concept space, perfect for kids and other large groups including five twin beds, three with adjoining twin trundles. Two twins can be pushed together to create a king bed. Total sleeping capacity is 16.

Additionally, this home has everything a chef could ask for in a fully stocked kitchen including a large storage pantry, an outdoor grill, and several small cooking appliances. The property has wifi that is reliable enough for working purposes but may slow depending on the number of guests utilizing it at any given time. There are three TVs at the house- one in the downstairs bedroom, one in the main living room, and one on the third floor- all are set up with Rokus.

Relax and visit in the open-concept living room and kitchen. Cuddle up with a good book on the daybed in the private sunroom. Sip a cup of coffee or a cocktail from a rocking chair on the 2nd-floor outdoor deck. Gather for meals off the grill on the lower patio or sunbathe peacefully on the private dock. On sunny days during low tide, this property truly shines. As the tide recedes, the sandy riverbed floor is exposed, resulting in shallow, ankle-deep pools, great for the smallest of explorers. Less than 200 yards down the shoreline, there is a public beach that is enjoyed by residents. Shallow river inlets surround the area and can be explored by kayak, where local wildlife abounds.

Need more space? On the property there is a 2 bedroom/1 bathroom guest apartment located above the garage with its own private entrance. One bedroom includes a king bed, the other includes a full-size top and bottom bunk bed. The apartment has a full kitchen, living area and washer and dryer. This can be rented in addition to the main property for an extra $150 per night.

Other things to note:
This property uses well water, which is treated and tastes fine from the tap, but you are welcome to bring bottled water if you prefer. Additionally, Dogwood Lane is on a septic system. Large groups can sometimes strain the system if not used properly. More instructions will be available on-site.
