Welcome to Ptarmigan Ranch! This beautiful four-bedroom, two-bathroom home is a new addition to the rental market. Just 30 minutes to the west you have the East Entrance of Yellowstone and 30 minutes to the east is historic Cody, Wyoming.

Ptarmigan Ranch has the elegant cabin feel with gorgeous views of the surrounding area. The large living area is great for relaxing after a long day of enjoying the countryside! The beautiful kitchen has plenty of space for cooking and easy access to the outdoor deck area. Just down the hall you will find a large main bedroom adorned with large, picturesque windows. The attached main bathroom is very spacious with a double vanity, a soaking tub, and a large step-in shower. Down the hall is another full bathroom with a step-in shower. Bedroom 2 on the main level has 2 twin size beds. Through the kitchen is a set of stairs leading to the upper level with the other two bedrooms. Bedroom 3 and 4, both have queen beds, skylights, and incredible views! Outside there is a great deck and pergola with seating. A newly added firepit with beautiful log seating is the perfect spot to gaze at the stars, roast s'mores and take in the views. Look out for wildlife that frequents the property.

We had a great stay. Nice, private location close to Yellowstone and Cody. The house was fully stocked with all essentials we needed. Great views of the mountains and it was enjoyable watching the deer that came on the property. The only complaint I would have is the lack of water pressure in the master bathroom shower.

Location, Views, Home away from Home

Property was perfect for the family. Plenty of room for everyone. Looking out the windows to the snow capped mountains when you wake up was amazing. Mule Deer in the yard every day! Short drive to Cody, WY with all of the amenities plus just a few miles to the least entered gate into Yellowstone made for a enjoyable stay. Home was equipped with enough dishes to prepare any meal we wanted. Only down side to property we saw were cobwebs and dust in living areas. Had one issue with plumbing but was taken care of immediately when notified the rental. Would recommend to all.

Amazing stay!

We loved the space of the property and how it is in between Cody and Yellowstone which made it easy for all the things that we did. The views of the mountains were amazing too. The cabin had everything that we needed. The only bad was that the shower in the master bathroom didn’t have much pressure but the soaking tub was really nice. We would definitely stay again.

We loved our stay at Ptarmigan Ranch. The view from the home was wonderful. It was close to town and close to Yellowstone. There were 6 of us staying and the home was perfect. We even caught 2 trout in the stream on the property.

I was very clear that we needed four rooms for four adults. One of the four rooms did not have a bed? So we had someone sleeping on the couch the whole trip.
