Built in 1925 the Cody House has the charm of an older home with the conveniences of modern living. Located in the heart of downtown Cody. Walking distance to shops, restaurants and many popular tourist attractions, including the Buffalo Bill Center of the West. This family friendly property is the perfect basecamp for your trip to the Yellowstone/Cody area.
Spacious kitchen, dining room and outdoor deck make it a perfect place to gather and entertain.
Owners Sophie and Troy live close by, and will be happy to assist you with any questions you may have about the area.
Between the two us we have 40+ years of experience in the hospitality and guest service industry in the Yellowstone area. Great home and perfect location to walking distance for Cody. Home was clean and had anything we needed for basic needs - even extras. We had an issue with the gas grill and the owner was very responsive - within minutes. We would stay at this home again.

Wonderful, family and group friendly house. Well- stocked kitchen, perfect backyard for BBQ and letting little ones run around. Very quiet street at night. Excellent responsiveness from owner/ manager. We couldn’t have been happier, and the house served as a sort of “ base-camp for other family and friends renting in Cody.

Best Road Trip topped off with a great house.

Cozy, yet large enough for my party of nine. Walking distance to the the attractions offered in the town of Cody.Our host was more than helpful with our stay. She offered to help in any way, but everything was more than we expected and we had no special request of her. If we had I am sure she would have been willing to handle any issue. Everyone in my party was more than satisfied with our stay at her house. I reccomend this property to anyone planning a visit to Cody Wy.

Get Away With Friends

We loved the house!! It was prefect as a home base to see the sights(Yellowstone, Bighorn Canyon, Red Lodge and of course Cody). Loved the big kitchen and the back deck outdoors. We grilled two nights and watched football. The location is perfect because you can walk downtown for shopping and dining. Highly recommend! Our host was wonderful.

Quick vacation Cody

We made a snap decision to visit Cody before school starts so we could see family. Had a great time, played golf at Olive Glenn in Cody. The house was fantastic, everything we needed for a great stay. We used the BBQ grill it worked great, all of the amenities were just as described in the listing. The house does have A/C and it worked great. Overall great experience. Big Thanks to Sophie for a great weekend.

Yellowstone visit

Love the property. Cute, charming and just overall perfect. My mother in law raved about the cleanliness and how well stocked the kitchen was. The kids loved their own room. The backyard was perfect for the men to enjoy a cigar at the end of the day. Great location to the park the east entrance is the way to go. Grocery stores and restaurants are so close. Area is quiet and safe. We highly recommend!!!

A gem!

Everything about this home is lovely! It's super clean, comfortable and welcoming. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything we needed to cook meals. There is plenty of space for family members to spread out after many hours of togetherness on a long car ride. Sophie was incredibly responsive. We had a small issue and within moments of texting her about it she called and had a solution at the ready. I highly recommend this place!

Great stay at the Cody House

Had a fantastic time in Cody over the 4th of July! Great location and perfect size house for family of 5. Really nice space where we could spread out and great backyard and deck! Will definitely look to stay here again!
