1st floor rooms are in "basement" - dark and musty. Rooms need a good deep clean ... dust and dirt in many places, mold on sink, hair in shower, ripped bedding. No shower or floor mat and tub is very slippery. No notice of hold for "incidentals", and no elevator. In room coffee pot was not clean. Food was empty and not refilled at breakfast.

Our suite had clashing paints and ugly green carpet, no baseboards, no artwork, no coffee table or ottoman. The tub was grubby and chipped. Very disappointed.

Staff friendly. Hotel dirty!!

The room was not clean at all. Carpets not vacuumed. Headboards dusty. Window sill was dirty. The bathroom floor, tub and shower curtain was gross. Underneath the beds were filthy as well and threw away garbage found under the beds. The over all room looked clean at first but once stayikg in there the more I found I was the dirtiest hotel I’ve ever stayed at. I actually had to clean it my self just to feel comfortable. The beds, sheets and pillows were clean. And the only positive note I have to say about the room was the beds. Very comfortable and most of us slept well. The staff was very friendly. We were only there for one night, but the hotel in general was a nice place to stay. The only other complaint I have is that the indoor pool and Jacuzzi was not very clean. It looked clean, but it had a very rancid smell in the Jacuzzi and there was a lot of foam. It almost smelled like ammonia. It had no scent of chlorine whatsoever while being in the pool room.

Nothing is perfect

The customer service was top notch! Very friendly, very kind and helpful. The breakfast was the usual to expect and that was okay with us. The beds are comfortable at least our room. Close to everything, good location! The plug ins wouldnt hold our chargers they just fell out, so i asked for a powerstrip and it was provided for my family to charge devices and my cpap machine. Also got to check in early, if they can get you in they will. 4.2 stars really.

We come to the Baymont at least every other month just for a little getaway from Spokane. It was depressing though this time as the hot tub spot in the bedroom was filled with hair when we got there including at the filter. I had because every washcloth in the room to clean it. Then when I went to bed I flipped the comforter off of me two observe two large yellow spots that were not even laundered. When I went over to the couch there was also a crunchy stain on the pillow. We usually go down to get breakfast around 8:00. Literally all they had there was sausage powdered eggs and waffles. No cereal no fruit no juice. I want to know what happened to my little hotel. At least the night worker that we love so much is still there. I don't usually leave bad reviews and this particular hotel means a lot to our mental health as a getaway. Will we come back? Of course. Will I say something to them when I'm there if I see it again? definitely.

Needs attention!!!

This hotel is in need of serious updating and a major cleaning. They need air conditioner filter cleaning, carpet cleaning, mold in tub area, breakfast improvement and much, much, more! Extremely disappointing this visit over numerous previous visits.

Room was outdated and felt dirty. Huge sticky spot on the floor (green carpet). I really didn’t want to stay but it was prepaid. Morning staff sucked, sucked on arrival and on departure. We waited and called for 30 minutes for checkout, it was after 10:15am. The rest of the staff were good. They don’t tidy your bed but they will enter your room at weird hours of the night (6:45-9pm) to empty waste cans and throw a loose plastic bag on top of the trash can. Suitcases are currently quarantined because this is definitely the kind of place where you pick up critters. Location was awesome. Bike ride to everything. No car needed.

The bathroom smelt like urine, mold was growing on the culk, ada handles in the shower were just broken off and not fixed. Dog hair was all over. Corners were dusty and uncleaned. Carpets smets horrible.

The room was really large and comfortable. The receptionist allowed me to check in early. When I was checking out, I asked if I could leave a bag (with chocolates that would have melted if I'd kept them in the car while golfing) and the receptionist obliged me. Picked the bag up after the round and was fine. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I'm in Couer d'Alene.
