All Good except … given windowless room

Everything good except very disappointed that whole glass window sealed and cannot see anything. Essentially it’s windowless. Requested to change room with window to view outside but told that will have to add USD40.

In response to expedia prompts, i have already reviewed the checking in process and so this review will ignore that blip and deal with everything else. The rooms are well appointed and great. The staff everywhere were attentive and could not be more pleasent. Be that security, bellboys, catering, pool side and house keeping. The pool and facilties around are a fantastic assest, which we took advantage off. We loved this hotel and its general feel. Although large you were still made to feel you were at a smaller hotel, with the attention from the staff. We will return to SL and highly likely we will stay here aguan, as we still need more time to experience and see Colombo.

This is an excellent property, relatively new, with outstanding breakfast buffet ( Sri Lankan breakfast is just the best, bar none). Staff is very helpful and courteous; the complementary city tour of Colombo is really good and well conducted. Can't believe that all of this is available for a fraction of the price of a comparable property in India or the western world. Being attached to a mall is very useful for shopping and dining options. The rooftop garden area with a cafe, bar, and infinity pool was great too.

We stayed here to recover in luxury after a 17 hour flight from the USA. We didn't wake up until 1 pm which was perfect because the free city tour starts at 2:30. It was a nice way to see a bit of Colombo. The rooms were comfortable and staff were fantastic. The rooftop pool and hot tubs were beautiful especially at sunset.
