20% Off Pre-Holiday Getaways!
Enjoy a peaceful mountain escape before the holiday rush! Book your stay before Thanksgiving or Christmas and save 20% on nightly rates. Cozy up, explore, and relax—these limited-time pre-holiday discounts won’t last long.

Timber Ridge, part of the Ridge Vacation Properties group, is an upscale log cabin, newly remodeled and professionally decorated to give you every modern convenience in a luxurious but cozy atmosphere. Brand new plush mattresses, down duvets, quilts, crisp cotton sheets, Turkish cotton towels, and a variety of bed pillow options, along with a mix of antique and new furnishings, guarantee that you'll be a little spoiled by the time you leave! The renovation also included the addition of many smart-home conveniences, easily controlled by voice using the Amazon Alexa devices located throughout the cabin and on the deck. Play music, ask a question, control the lights --even adjust the temperature just by speaking. This 2,000 square foot cabin is nestled in the woods at an elevation of 9,200 feet and features 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.

MAIN LEVEL –
The gourmet KITCHEN features all new stainless steel appliances, leathered granite countertops, designer cabinets, ambient lighting, and a handy breakfast bar with seating for 4. You'll find everything you might need in this well-appointed kitchen including an Instant Pot slow cooker/pressure cooker, Cuisinart toaster, Cuisinart dual coffee maker (which accepts single-serve Keurig-style coffee pods as well as ground coffee for making a full carafe), a blender, a full set of T-fal stainless steel pots and non-stick pans, a variety of bakeware, and all kinds of cooking gadgets and necessities, as well as basic pantry items, paper goods, and linens.

Over in the EATING AREA, the round antique dining table is perfect for leisurely meals overlooking the side deck and woods but can also accommodate family games or puzzle sessions with eclectic seating for six. A gas grill is located just outside the sliding glass door so your home chef can easily get some BBQ going!

Wrap yourself in a cozy throw and settle into the soft leather sofa in the LIVING ROOM to watch a fire blaze in the stone fireplace or catch up with your favorite show on the 50-inch Smart HD TV, which is also visible from the kitchen. Step out the back door onto the wrap-around deck to watch the wildlife, enjoy a cup of coffee in one of the comfy rocking chairs, or stare off at the wooded mountain views and let your mind wander. Curl up with a book, take a nap, or unwind with your loved ones while the rest of the world stays busy without you!

In the upstairs BATHROOM, you'll be impressed by the custom tiled walk-in shower and thick Turkish cotton towels. And while there's plenty of room to store your own toiletries on the hand-crafted shelves or granite-topped vanity, soap, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, all necessary paper goods, and a first aid kit are provided for your convenience.

BEDROOM 1 features two vintage twin beds, an antique curved front dresser, and a handy desk with an antique chair where you can write a note or pretend to get some work done.

BEDROOM 2 offers a queen poster bed and overlooks the back deck into the treetops. It also features a beautiful plaid chair to relax in and plenty of closet space to store your belongings.

LOWER LEVEL –
On the lower level, you'll have access to the ground level deck where there's room to sit and plan a badminton or lawn darts competition. Step off the deck and let your stress melt away in the calming HOT TUB, or follow the path on the landscaped hillside to the custom FIRE PIT where everyone can gather 'round the campfire to rehash the day's events. The large FAMILY ROOM is perfect for watching movies on the 65-inch Smart HD TV, or you can organize a fun FOOSBALL tournament! Extra guests will be more than comfortable on the queen sofa sleeper with memory foam mattress.

In the spacious downstairs BATHROOM, you'll discover a deep full-size bathtub and shower with custom tiled surround, a granite-topped vanity, and plenty of storage. Again, essential toiletries, a first aid kit, and plenty of linens are provided.

BEDROOM 3 features a stunning four-poster king-size bed and plenty of room to spread out, and if the down duvet and crisp cotton sheets don't make you decide to stay in bed all day, they'll definitely woo you back for a lazy afternoon nap! After that, you can sit in the comfy Flexsteel chair to plan tomorrow's adventures.

Finally, the lower level boasts a cute LAUNDRY ROOM with a full-size stacked washer and dryer and plenty of space to sort and fold your family's laundry on the built-in countertop. There's even room left over to store your luggage until it's time to pack up and head home. But will you ever want to leave? That's the predicament you'll face when staying at Timber Ridge!

Amazing cabin! The kitchen was very clean and well equipped. The beds are very comfortable and cozy. There are a lot of games, toys, etc. to keep the kids occupied and the outside space is great for family time. The only things to be mindful of is that there are some breakable decorations that are kid accessible and there are a fair number of instructions for the house and its variety of amenities. I don’t consider these to be negatives, just things to be aware of.Overall we had a great time and would definitely stay here again if we visit the area again.

First off this place was amazing! Once I stepped into the property, Music, presence of the home was very comforting. The amenities of this home had everything we needed. We actually didn't go anywhere. There were local attractions but we wanted to get away and seclude ourselves from everything and this place did it for us. It is very quiet and peaceful. Definitely will plan on returning. Wendy and Wayne were awesome. Very responsive of our needs and helpful. THANK YOU!

Cozy and Clean Cabin in the woods

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy and inviting cabin in the woods! It was the perfect getaway for our family of 7. The cabin was very clean, well-maintained, and felt so welcoming from the moment we walked in. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the peaceful setting made it easy to relax and reconnect. We especially loved the quiet mornings surrounded by nature and evenings spent by the fire. Highly recommend for families looking for a clean, comfortable, and charming retreat in the Colorado woods!

Awesome House-Highly Recommend

The house is exactly as advertised. Soft music was playing when we arrived and the home is beautiful. The owners are great people, even coming over for s’mores one evening. If I ever come back to this area, this will be where I stay. Centrally located in the cool mountains with access within an hour to everything in Colorado Springs, Canon City, Cripple Creek and Florissant. We white water rafted, zip lined, e-bike tour of Garden of the Gods, and took the train up to Pike’s Peak.

This home is beautiful with views of wildlife out of every window! We saw elk, deer, wild turkeys as well as beautiful birds! The home was so clean, compfortable, and quiet. The starlit night views are as if you could reach out and pluck them from the sky. The host were so kind and accomidated our needs as we have a family member with special needs. This home had all the amenities and more! We made new friends to join us at the firepit for great conversation and make smores. We have found a wonderful getaway nestled in the beautiful mountains and will be back again!

Memories made!

This was such an amazing stay! Kids absolutely loved it. The place is immaculate; perfect for romance or family fun. Wayne and Wendy are the perfect hosts and have everything you could possibly need in that cabin, even down down Alexa’s in every corner which my kids loved. My wife and I enjoyed every minute. It’s the perfect hideaway but close enough to civilization if needed. Highly recommend for anyone!

Perfect getaway

This place is so well thought out. It is beautiful when you enter. The decor and vibe of the place is perfect, especially for teens and young adults who love cottage themes. It is well stocked and instructions are throughout so it is easy to utilize features. The only thing I didn’t see in the kitchen (I may have missed it) was a mixing bowl. I can not speak more highly of this rental. It is one of the best I have stayed in.

Perfect cabin experience!

As others have said, the cabin and experience provided by the hosts was absolutely stellar - it’s actually more like staying at a friend’s home, rather than a rental. The cabin is beautiful, perfectly clean, cozy, and comfortable in every way. The hosts truly care about your stay, and it's apparent in all the details. The cabin has everything you’ll need for your stay - they’ve really thought of everything. In my opinion, Florissant is the perfect place for the greater Pikes Peak area - it’s still close to nearly everything you’ll want to see, but it’s quiet, non-touristy, and has great hiking and stargazing. The hosts are easy to work with and communicate well, making themselves available for questions. My family and I loved our time at Timber Ridge, and everyone who has seen our photos asks about where we stayed. We would rent again in a heartbeat, and, as I told the owners, I’m not sure if I should tell everyone or keep it a secret!

Trip for two

I have had my fair share of cabin rentals, and I must say this one is my favorite. It is located in a beautiful setting. It isn’t far from anywhere you would like it visit but far enough away that you feel secluded. The drive was relaxing and on safe wide roads. The cabin is charming and the window box flowers were a delight. The cabin is nestled in tall pines and aspens. I couldn’t have asked for more. There are snow capped mountains peeking over the tree line that will greet you each morning. Every window has a view. The inside of the cabin is beautiful and so well decorated. Every day there were more details to discover and appreciate. I loved the smell of the bed linens that kept us so warm at night. The kitchen was well stocked with more than I could need. The wood burning stove is so easy to use while giving a big cozy feel. The walk in shower was wonderful and stocked with products that made me feel someone cared about their guests. The laundry room is refreshing and spacious with lots of counter space. I loved the lighting through the cabin and multiple options of lamps and having the ease of Alexa turning them on and off for me. The pin map downstairs made it feel like we were a community. I love that detail. This cabin inspires me. It was a get away for me and my fiancé. We set our sights for a quiet luxury cabin. We couldn’t have asked for more!

Peaceful and Relaxing

We loved our stay at Timber ridge! We walked in to a sparkling clean, fresh smelling house. The beds were very comfortable, the kitchen stocked with everything you might need, and the night sky is spectacular! The whole house Alexa assistant is a great addition, so you never have to fumble for light switches in an unfamiliar space. The hosts were friendly and helpful. There are many places to hike nearby, including Mueller State Park, the Florissant Fossil Beds, and Platte River trail. This was our second trip to beautiful Florissant and definitely the nicest rental we have ever been in! Highly recommend!

We absolutely loved this home! The owners thought of everything, and they went above and beyond to ensure our every need was met. They set the bar for every other B&B owner! In addition, the setting was beautiful and the wildlife was abundant. We sat on the deck and watched deer, turkey, and other animals. If I could give a 10 star rating, I would!
