Always a pleasure.

Check in was a breeze as usual. The room we got smelled really bad when we walked in but narrowed that down to something in the garbage disposal in the sink. Turned it on and the smell was gone by the time we came back from dinner. That was the only bad thing we encountered. The hot tub was great, breakfast options were slim but good. All around a great stay as always. Still our favorite go-to hotel in this city.

We were in a total of 3 rooms. First the TV didn't work so they switched us, second room had severe mice droppings and damage from mice, 3rd was still not great but it was late and we had 3 small children. Awful experience.

Convenient hotel with some ups and downs

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and it is usually amazing! This time is was okay. The things that always have been wonderful include the spacious layout of the rooms, the abundant storage, the friendly staff, and the clean and well kept pool. These things are what keep us coming back to this hotel, luckily this hasn’t changed! In the past the breakfast and housekeeping have also been excellent, however this time the breakfast foods were stale and options were slim. Out of our 7 night stay, we had housekeeping stop by one morning only at the beginning of our stay to see if we needed anything. At that point we didn’t, but by day 4, 5, and 6 we did want the trash emptied and fresh towels and wouldn’t have minded a quick vacuuming. I’m sure I could have requested this at the front desk but I didn’t bother. The real bummer on this trip was the lack of hot water for showers on our final night. The duration of our stay required about 5 minutes for the shower to get warm but on the last night the water would not get hot at all. Overall we will probably stay here again next time we come to Coralville, because travelling with kids it is so nice to have the separate bedroom, but it would be great if the breakfast foods were taken a look at and if the hotel could get a better water heater.

We loved staying there. Having a couch in your room and small kitchen makes it so much easier if you are staying more than one night!! Highly recommend!! Staff was also very friendly!
