A classic coastal cottage, this lakeside charmer has water views, designer interiors, relaxing porches plus a Juliet balcony. Relax in a gorgeous, open-concept space downstairs, with picture-window views of the lake setting the scene. Enjoy the cabana-lined pool at Cinnamon Shore South and private beach access in this village and all the other amenities at Cinnamon Shore!

AMENITIES: At South, enjoy resort-style amenities such as the Cabana Pool with infinity edge; the new Splish Splash Family Pool with infinity edge and splash pad; Tailwind Park, Coastline Fire Lounge and other parks; serene lakes and ponds; a community pier; overlook pavilions and playscape. You also can access amenities at Cinnamon Shore North: pools, lakes, fitness center, on-site restaurants, and Town Center fun.

MAIN LIVING SPACE: Backed by broad views of South’s scenic lake, the first-floor den invites lounging with all-white sofas and chairs facing a wall-mounted, flat-screen TV. White shiplap and coastal artwork feel beachy, sharing the space with well-equipped kitchen. A wide island has seating for three with bar-height chairs, while stainless appliances and upscale finishes and trio of pendant lights have a coastal- contemporary look.

SLEEPING QUARTERS: A light-filled, primary bedroom with queen bed and vaulted ceiling creates your very own personal haven upstairs, with private balcony and en suite bath with glass-front, walk-in shower and dual sinks. A hallway area with twin-over-queen bunk beckon kids or extra guests, served by a full bunk area bath.

GREAT EXTRAS: Just off the front porch, flagstones along the lake’s edge create a pleasing grounds surround for the cottage, part of a cluster of charming lakeside homes. Stroll along South lake’s wooden boardwalk. Or book umbrellas and lounge chairs along the beachfront.

It was fresh, clean, and had everything we needed! Also loved the bunk bed for our girls and separate bathrooms. Only small suggestion would be to have options for warmer bedding and/or blankets to cover up with at night!We highly recommend Glass Half Full and would definitely return!

Charming Cottage

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Beautifully furnished and great location. Was surprised to find a rather small master with a queen bed, but made sense as there was a bunk room with its own bathroom. Would recommend for a family with small children, but we would probably rent a cottage with a larger master next time since our boys are grown. There was a funky musty odor that followed us home so recommend looking into that.

It was well equipped, not like others where we had to go to Target and buy kitchen stuff.We did identify the following items.1. Water flow in the unit is low, especially in the half-bath.2. Outdoor shower is inconveniently located and didn't find it until days later.3. Primary bath sliding door does not close completely.4. Primary bath shower door needs adjusting so it can close completely.5. Refrigerator wasn't working when we checked in, it was turned off. Maintenance turned it on and provided a small temporary unit until the frig reach cool temperature overnight.6. Too many pillows on the bed of the primary bedroom!! Why so many and no place to put them in order to get in bed.

Beds were comfy and there were plenty of essentials in the home. The home is beautifully styled and music was playing when we arrived, which was a nice touch! Shades on blinds by the stairs are needed, as you look right into bunk area from outside. The bunk bathroom door would not stay closed and does not have a lock. The bedroom patio door lock may need adjusting. All small things & did not dampen our trip but wanted to let you know!

Relaxing Trip/Gorgeous Cottage

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The Glass Half Full Cottage was lovely, very clean, comfortable beds, and great location. We were supplied with the little amenities that make a big difference including hand soap, dish soap, laundry detergent, paper towels. It was nice not having to worry about those small things while on the trip. We did have to clean the dishes again when we got there because there were stains on several but that may have been a one off from the occupants before us. I do recommend renting a golf cart as the walk to the beach is a little far but so easy with a golf cart. I would highly recommend this trip/cottage to others and can't wait to stay here again.

Best Vacation Spot on the Gulf Coast

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: We were told about Cinnamon Shores by a friend that had stayed their with her family the summer prior. We had not been on a vacation in almost four years and were incredibly COVID conscious. Cinnamon Shores and the Glass Half Full House met all our expectations and more. The house was spotless and smelled clean. The space was perfect and close amenities around the property made our short stay that much more enjoyable when the beach had tides so high that our beach day turned out to be not as much of an option. The pool was so relaxing and family friendly and the bartenders made incredible drinks. We have already booked our stay for next summer and can't wait to be back!
