For the price, I expected an iron and ironing board to be available in the room instead of having to request one. I had to call the front desk to ask if they even had one, then walk up to retrieve it myself. On top of that, I was asked to return the ironing board before checking out, which felt inconvenient.
The mattress felt very cheap and was uncomfortable. There were chips of paint throughout the room, and the door window was severely dirty and honestly an eyesore. When I went to use one of the towels that were placed on the bench, it looked like there was a piece of s* on it, which was extremely disgusting. Because I was on a time crunch, I left it there and checked out. I’m honestly glad I didn’t end up booking two nights.
Access to the beach was also frustrating. There is a large, steep hill of sand directly in front of the stairs, making it very difficult for some people to get through. These are all issues that could easily be fixed, but overall the experience was disappointing
