The Old Barn is a quaint country cottage tucked away in an enclosed cobbled courtyard. Forming part of a group of three luxury holiday homes all set within extensive garden grounds, boasting far reaching views over the Lomond hills with ample parking space. Only 40 minutes’ drive from Edinburgh Airport, and in a central location in Fife it is the perfect base for exploring many Scottish tourist attractions. The Old Barn is a great place to come relax and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside in a beautiful home from home. A fantastic conversion formerly an old agricultural building now renovated to incorporate some charming and unusual features. The kitchen is fully equipped with bar stools which are better suited for adults than young children, the dining area has fold up dining table with four chairs and the living area has a wood burner and a Freeview TV, the bedroom on the mezzanine level is open plan and overlooks the living area with gorgeous sky light windows. There are another two bedrooms on the ground floor. Outside there is a lovely, enclosed courtyard which is a great little sun trap but you can also enjoy the very large shared garden areas with the other two beautiful holiday homes, Fieldview and Orchard House ideal for large families and groups of friends. There is a large grassy area which is ideal for football, badminton or cricket along with a small summer house to sit in on a cool day and a fantastic, shared barbecue for the warmer weather.

Auchtermuchty is a quiet village surrounded by beautiful countryside and has lots of activities happening close by. Edinburgh is just 40 minutes away where you can explore this stunning historic city. Closer to home and 8 minutes away you will find the charming historic village of Falkland, where you may recognise some of the picturesque, cobbled streets featured in the TV hit series, Outlander. A visit to the palace and gardens is highly recommended along with beautiful leisurely walks around the Falkland Estate. The Scottish Deer Centre and Fife Zoo are also within a short 10-minute drive. Beach 17 miles.

The Old Barn can be booked together with Orchard House (UK40946) and Fieldview (UK40947) to accommodate up to 20 guests.
