Great location, very nice staff, super clean. Room was not soundproofed as indicated (perhaps because it was on the side not yet renovated?), so noise from the hallway was bothersome. Checkout time is very early—9am—which seems somewhat odd.

The lobby was excelent and the service of employee are humble. The pictures that I see in Expedia arent the same in reality. But my stay was good for one night that I have to rest. At night there was a lot of noise in the room upstairs.

Walkable, Comfortable, and a Good Value

Hotel Taypikala had a great location, just minutes walking to anything we wanted to go to in the Historical City Center. It was clean and comfortable. The breakfasts had a lot of options, from the typical continental Peruvian breakfast to hot options and even an omelet station. They gave us box breakfasts for an early morning tour and were accommodating with a later check out. We would stay there again.

Cusco Stay

This stay in Cusco was perfectly located. Extremely close to the center and walkable to most places. The hotel was extremely accommodating, even setting up taxi services as needed. The only drawback was that the restaurant wasn’t particularly good, which was surprising because all food I ate in Peru was amazing. However it’s still a great place to stay with cozy beds, quiet, and great service.

It was very nice over night stay. The lobby was small, but organized. The rooms were clean. The bathrooms seemed newly renovated even though building is old. My room had a large tub and rain shower head which was nice, but European style which has glass wall on only half of the bath tub. Bed was comfortable and blanket was good. People stayed at the 1st floor said they were cold, but 3rd floor was at comfortable temperature. This hotel seems to be only hotel in Cusco starts breakfast at 5:00AM on Saturday. It is very nice that we were able to have full breakfast buffet before leaving for airport at 6:00AM on Saturday. Thank you!
