The hotel was located in the central tourist district which was walkable to Avenida del Sol, San Pedro Public Market, Plaza de Armas, etc. There was daily breakfast with options for fresh omelettes and pancakes. The staff spoke English well and were quite helpful. The only downside is the room assigned to us was quite small for 2 medium sized adults who arrived with hand carried luggage only. We had to arrange the luggages in a way to make more space to move about.

The location is good and walkable. The tea service and breakfast is amazing.The yard is relaxing and the library is definite add the point. Not that quiet at night but acceptable.The facility is good though one of my lamp did not work.

We were very happy with our stay here. We stayed 2 separate nights here. There was an initial confusion with the booking. It was hotels.com or Expedia fault. They didn’t send them that we would be 3 people even though we had specified it in our reservation. Hotels.com customer service was horrible and useless but Tierra Viva staff was very nice about it and didn’t charge us anything extra. The rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. We were on the upper floors on both occasions. The staff helped carry our luggage to the rooms and also bring them down at checkout. We left 2 pieces of luggage during our first stay. When we returned they had put the luggage in our room already. Location of the hotel is very central and close to the main square. Area was lively and felt very safe. Breakfast had good selection and the staff helped us get some hot milk for our son. Overall apply with our stay and would be glad to come back.

We stayed at Tierra Viva Cusco Centro for our first two nights. My friend got altitude sickness, and the hotel kindly brought an oxygen tank to our room free of charge. They also helped transfer our luggage to Tierra Viva San Blas while we went to Machu Picchu. Highly recommended if you’re looking for comfort, excellent service, and great value.
