For the price, this property is good. And we were upgraded to a larger room with a view. Some minor issues with water flowing from the shower throughout the toilet area. And the breakfast could be better. The location is great. The staff is great. The room was comfortable. And at $30 a night, what else can you ask for.

Breakfast was poor and cold when taking late breakfast. Fairly noisy area. Good staff. Very welcoming bike security. Worth staying over for a while and for the price. Very convenient location.

The reason is that it is a good hotel. Just don’t drink the bottle water there that they give you for free. It is really bad. I have a water tester that I take with me all over and there water is really bad. Even the water that you can have down at the lobby. So watch out, I went down to the lobby and showed them how bad it was and I could see it on there face that they did not know it ether that the water was bad but when I asked if I could get the water in the fridge instead the manager told the girl in charge no. I think managers only knows it I got sick from it just because I forgot to test it one time the big bottle down in the lobby and my stomach was really bad after it But other things is that they are not good in English and just say yes yes to everything but don’t do what I talked about. But everything else is really good. People are really nice and the food is okay. Location is really good. So if we don’t think about the water and just buy in stores this is a good hotel for the money. I decided to stay 3 days longer because it was just by the beach

Unclean and extremely noisy

We were woke at 7 AM by the construction taking place in the hallway. Saws hammers drills, not fun to wake up to on vacation. This was actually happening right outside our door. I could see all the action through the peephole. The room was not clean, there's mildew growing in the bathroom. The place really needs a deep cleaning. The view would have been absolutely spectacular especially at night except that The windows were filthy and not just the glass but everything around the windows including the curtains. I'm glad that I had only booked one night here, it was not worth the $26. There are many other hotels in the area that are very clean and comfortable and that understand what it means to provide a comfortable clean space to rest for their customers.

Good hotel.

The hotel is newish, buffet breakfast was good, except no milk for your cuppa tea or coffee, just sweetened condensed milk. The first room we were given had a strong musty, mouldy smell but the staff were only too happy to give us another room. Thank you. Hotel staff were friendly.

Not recommended, even for the price

I can't recommend staying here. To be fair, I can't/won't cut down the hotel too much. The price is ridiculously low so it would be ridiculous to expect a 5 star stay. But for the price, I would recommend paying more and staying somewhere nicer. The outside of the hotel has been redone so it looks nice. But it doesn't resemble this at all, once you are inside. The hotel isn't clean, and is pretty dated. Breakfast is included but I would probably just skip it if I stayed here. The dining area doesn't scream clean and simply isn't comforting. Standards/expectations are just lower here. $30CAD a night for two people though. That is CHEAP. Most cities in Vietnam have cheap accommodations and are all in that similar range of just clean enough, just quiet enough, standards are just high enough. I felt that this hotel fell a little short though. The bathroom had a funky smell to it and the bedding smelled moldy. Honestly, if the place was a little cleaner, I would recommend it because of the price. It falls below my standards though and hence I don't recommend staying here. I'm sure in time, all their standards will slowly come up but I'm guessing the price would move along with that.

I am reserved a deluxe room with single king bed but when I check in they gave me the different room. Talks to the receptionist she told me they only have that room, I have to wait until tomorrow.

if budget is limited, why not?

It is definitely middle of nowhere and I stayed with cockroaches and hair of the unidentified. It was the worst choice in the trip. But it was 20 bucks a night and I am probably not authorized to complain.

Great value for money

Large clean room. Only 2 min from the beach with lots of seafood restaurants around. Good English capabilities of staff. Breakfast was more Asian than Western but still lots of choices. Great value for money. Would stay again.

I would to anyone who want to book for this hotel "NO". A huge different from photos on the website an reality. It my first trip to Da Nang and the hotel ruined all my enjoyment. A bedroom with a broken lamp, leaking basin and toiletries is not provided as it is. I had to requested 3 times just for toilet paper and asking for shampoo every single day. When they refilled the shampoo properly about 3mls. Not only me is the one who has made a complaint but also other guests but the receptionist reply "OK, Ok" but not taking any action.

Everything is nice except the room is a bit cozy! Buffet breakfast style.. Check out earlier than the other hotel! 5 -7mins walk to the beach. Has a good view to the beach though!

Dangerous hotel, you can get sick, fall or die!

Gold Hotel III is the worst place I ever have stayed! A complete rip off! Raw sewage from the toilet came out every time I flushed! The smell was disgusting! There was a power cut and loud fire alarm at 7am for no reason we had to escape in darkness. The fire exit stairs are not made correctly you can easily fall and die! Breakfast is rubbish, dirty and makes you sick! Loud music played in hall way at 10-11pm when people are sleeping! The manager was very rude and not want to help the customer just take the money! DO NOT STAY THERE ITS VERY DANGEROUS HOTEL!
