Chalet sijaitsee suoraan Chestatee-joen varrella. Sijaitsee kuuden mailin pÀÀssÀ Dahlonegan keskustasta ja viidentoista mailin pÀÀssÀ Helen Georgiasta, jotka tarjoavat erilaisia ruokailu- ja viihdytysvaihtoehtoja. Muutaman mailin pÀÀssÀ paikallisista viinitiloista, viinitiloista, panimoista ja hÀÀpajoista. LÀheisiin aktiviteetteihin kuuluvat vaellus, vesiurheilu, kalastus, ratsastus, golf, maastopyörÀily, kulta etsintÀ, paikalliset elÀintarhat, Vogel State Park, Blood Mountain ja paljon muuta. Ulkoiset turvakamerat turvallisuutesi vuoksi.

We stayed at this chalet last night and it was absolutely perfect. Sitting right on the Chestatee River, the setting is incredibly peaceful and relaxing. The chalet was clean, cozy, and thoughtfully set up, with everything we needed for a comfortable stay.Waking up to the river views was a highlight, and the outdoor space made it easy to unwind and enjoy nature without feeling far from town. It’s the ideal balance of seclusion and convenience, especially for a getaway in Dahlonega.We couldn’t have asked for a better stay and would absolutely return. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a quiet, scenic retreat.

We loved our pre-Christmas get away to Dahlonega. Our family enjoyed some time in the hot tub, some fishing in the river, a sitting by the fire pit, and just relaxing. We spent our days in town and our nights playing games and doing puzzles. One night we even had a visit from a very friendly little deer. It was a great way to unwind before the 25th.

Lisa communicated well and was very hospitable. She even offered an amenity that wasn’t listed so we could see the neighboring waterfalls. I will say that when you turn onto the gravel road you might say, “uh
.,” but just wait until you enter the home. Clean and immaculate and possibly a bit better than the pictures!Lisa had all the amenities you could probably want for a property like this
 she even had multiple pillow selections! Something that my wife truly appreciated.Wineries are very close with Doghobble being amazing and nearby. Be sure to check out the empanadas!!The only negative comment I would say, which is something one would have to accept being so remote, is the television kept buffering about every 15 minutes into a show or movie. Probably weak WiFi.Be sure to step outside late at night and glance up at the stars during clear nights. Truly amazing

Front of property (not shown in photos) looked very unimpressive and was on a gravel alley with no view whatsoever. Unfortunately this is where the location of the hot tub was chosen, so we didn’t even consider using it. Soon after arrival a fire alarm began beeping until we removed it from the ceiling. The furnishings were ok but not what we expected for this nightly rate, particularly the upstairs bedroom which was sparse and plain. Later that night we were awakened by an alarm from the oven which we had to fix the next morning after some internet research. The towels and washcloths were stained and scratchy. Fortunately the location was only 20 min from wineries and downtown Dahlonega, or this trip would have been a complete bust. We won’t be returning.

Lisa was beyond kind, helpful and prompt with replies to the few questions we had. She offered info beyond the advertised items, like the falls just down the road. My family was so pleased with everything. They were amazed at the home and the grounds. We all had a great time together enjoying the fire pit and the wall of windows overlooking the slow moving river. An all around great experience !!

What a wonderful long weekend summer vacation! Check in was easy, the house was fully stocked for all of our needs, wi-fi worked great and the location was gorgeous! We especially loved taking the kayaks out down to where the water was running, swimming and attempting to fish (though we had no luck) We also truly loved the short hike to the neighorhood waterfall where we enjoying swimming and splashing and fishing and relaxing! Proximity to downtown Dahlonega as well as Helen was perfect! Would love to stay again!I will say the gravel road before the paved driveway was a little bumpy and the properties leading up to the house made us wonder if we were in the right place but we kept on going and enjoyed every second of our stay!

Great stay!

My family had a wonderful weekend stay at this chalet overlooking the river! The home was very cozy and equipped with everything we needed, including plenty of towels, kitchen ware & appliances, cozy blankets, games and puzzles. We enjoyed fishing, hanging out by the river, using the hot tub, reading and playing games. My teenage girls loved the waterfall area and we spent a good amount of time relaxing there. We ate dinner in Dahlonega at Public House. We went hiking and fishing at nearby DeSoto Falls and it was lovely. The road to the chalet is pretty bumpy & long so be prepared for that. Other than that, it’s a great weekend getaway!

Much needed vacay

This was a much needed short vacation for the whole family. My elderly Nana enjoyed the peace and quiet and relaxing view from the deck looking out into the river. My kids along with myself, husband and other family were able to enjoy unplugging from our busy job demanding lives. We enjoyed just casting a line. Grilling and hanging out by the fire.as well as a dip in the hot tub to end the night.

Amazing stay

The cabin is amazing! Fullly stocked kitchen and bath. If you like to cook, youll have the utensils & equipment. The cabin was clean and check in easy. The creek is your back yard! We loved watching the kayakers go by. The hot tub was a nice option for the cooler evenings. The road to get there is definitely rual. It rained one day and it was iffy on the drive out. Our SUV did the job, we doubt our car would of made it. If are looking for mountain get-a-way- like we were- this is the place for peacefulness. We plan to be back.

Home away from home

The most attentive and proactive host. Before and during our stay Lisa was the ultimate host who addresses our every question and need. We were celebrating my to mother's 86th with a small group of extended family and I wanted something memorable and today property delivered. Everyone felt at home and we enjoyed the privacy anger hospitality.From our expensive view of the Chestatee we enjoyed the rain, the bald eagle sighting, and the dozen wild turkey feeding one early morning.If only every rental experience and host meet expectations like Lisa did for us - thank you!
