Very nice hotel with big rooms, location is actually very central, free-parking is great although the lot gets a little crowded occasionally sharing with the restaurant/nightclub next-door but it was never too bad, there is more metered parking up the street where you can park overnight if need be. Friendly staff, restaurant is great and the rooftop is nice

Hotel is amazing. The views on the rooftop are excellent. Juan was a fantastic bartender. Quick with the pour and food was delicious. Cyrus at the front desk is a life saver, always coming in clutch. Great staff!!

Very unique rooms! Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great hotel if you are having a concert at the south side music hall because it’s just a one minute walk. Pool is amazing and so was the roof top views!

Great hotel!

Canvas is a gorgeous hotel in downtown Dallas with a lovely rooftop bar. Check-in was seamless, the property is kept pristine clean, and every staff member I interacted with was extremely kind and professional. My only issue was that the walls of the rooms seem to be a bit thin, so I was able to hear every single noise within the area of my room. I would also encourage some sort of mechanism to make the room doors close more softly/slowly since they're prone to slamming really hard without guests being aware enough to slow the door's motion.

Hotel said they offered a shuttle service, but everytime I asked it was not available. I am pretty sure my wife got Food poisoning from eating at the restraunt. I am not one to complain, as overall it is a neat Hotel. The fees and price of the drinks are a little out of hand but it could be a nice stay we just have a little bit of bad luck.

Nice but wouldn’t go back

Hotel and food were great! Only issues is there is basically a nightclub directly next to the hotel so it is super loud at night until very late and since it’s an old building you can literally hear everything above and adjacent to your room (conversations, walking in heels, water running, etc). Also, only one server at the entire restaurant every morning so super slow.
