I needed a last minute place to stay to catch a show at Southside Ballroom and SOVA was a mile away and $110 as compared to everyone else. Check in was easy as the bar is the check in spot. After the show, I hung out at the bar with Grant, the front desk/bartender guy, and talked until 2am. The room I stayed in was small but perfect. Bed, shower, sleep. Overall, had a great visit.

The pictures were a bit misleading, and lack of temperature control range made my stay uniquely uncomfortable despite help from the front desk to allow my room a larger control via the personal AC. I was freezing most of the night. Floor felt a little tacky, and the shower curtain didn't reach the floor which allowed the water to sputter across the bathroom floor. I wouldn't recommend the location either. There wasn't much around.

Upon arrival, we searched for parking and parked in the back parking lot, because the other two were almost full. After paying $18 for parking, we got out of our vehicle and noticed remnants of shattered windshields/windows in several places. Scared us so we went in and checked in and was told that parking lot is not safe, so we drove around until we found another spot in front and paid for more parking. The rooms are TINY, our ac didn’t work and it was so loud from the party happening in the foyer that we got no sleep. We definitely won’t ever go back! Just not our style!

Good location for downtown activities, within walking distance of Dallas Farmers Market. Convenient and good price for one night stay and getting to a flight at Love Field in the morning, but wouldn't want to stay in the room any longer because of minimal amenities. Bed comfort was average. Weirdest thing was no cups in the room and extremely shallow sink that didn't allow you to fit a water bottle under the faucet. Also no ready-to-go coffee in the am, needed to wait for them to make a pour over.

Road trip stopover

Reception was very welcoming, we each got a free drink voucher at the bar. The room was as expected, the bed wasn’t the comfiest but the toilet (bidet and heated) and the shower were excellent.there was cheap parking across the rd and lots of restaurants and bars in walking distance.

Staff were very nice and helpful. My room did not have coat hooks. I had to hang my coat and shirts in the bathoom handle and the TV. Also, they should have an iron in premises. They do have steamers, but I prefer irons.
