rooms looked nice however please make sure your room is not near the elevator. the elevators are in use all night are pretty loud and can be heard in the rooms.

Located in the Dartmouth Crossing area, the Sandman offers a really high quality facility at a decent price. Area food offerings are great - and the hotel’s food and bar are superior. It is remote from Halifax by some standards but only about 15 minutes away.

10/10, went on a girls trip and couldn’t have asked for a better place! Pool WITH a water slide and a lovely gym. There are 2 restaurants in the hotel plus a free coffee bar in addition to the coffee machine in your room. The rooms are beautiful and spacious with all the amenities you may need for hygiene/ shower. Super close to gas and shopping needs. The perfect place where it is not too busy! The staff are also lovely and will help you with any inquires or room service needs!

First off, I’d definitely stay here again. This hotel is fantastic — located in a great area, close to shopping and restaurants, with convenient on-site parking. The room was clean with no unpleasant odors. Overall, a very comfortable and safe place to stay. Here are a couple of things to note from our experience: 1. Housekeeping Service: Be aware that the Sandman Signature doesn’t consistently provide full room refreshes (e.g., restocking coffee pods, tea, emptying trash, making beds with comforters, etc.) — even upon request. We stayed for a week and only received full service on two days, despite placing the required placard outside the door before 10 a.m. each day, per hotel policy. On the other days, only the towels (bath, face, hand) were replaced. Just something to keep in mind if you prefer a high level of cleanliness during your stay. 2. Noise Issue Resolved Quickly: One night toward the end of our stay, we experienced loud running and stomping noises from the room above us. At 10:45 p.m, we reported it to the front desk, and they addressed it immediately. Thankfully, the people upstairs obliged and stopped too. We really appreciated the prompt response from the hotel staff.

Last time we stayed we were on the 6th floor room. This time we were on the 4th. It was noisy and we had no extra blanket only an extra pillow and Kleenex box only had three Kleenex tissues then was empty. Next we will request the 6 th floor again. Our stay back in April was great.
