The staff here are fantastic and my weekend was so comfortable I felt like I was at home. Being walking distance to everything was also a huge bonus for my stay.

The motel with the music…

This is a wonderful motel in one of the most picturesque towns in Victoria. The motel is walking distance from everything. But the highlight was a music recital from the owners two sons. They are both young, if memory serves 9 and 11, and they play the accordion. The elder son plays the button accordion and the younger son plays the piano accordion. They are incredibly talented and if they keep practising they will be on a future world stage. If you stay here you simply have to ask for a recital. You will get one and will be blown away. Keep practising boys; I’ll be back this time next year!!

Went to reception and found a note sticky taped to the door to call a phone number to get a key. Went to the room wanted to open a bottle and no bottle opener in the room. After the owner went through all the rooms looking for one. Eventually found one that was broken. The room had a spa in it and the hot water ran out when it half way through filling up. So a 20 second cold spa. And the room was $220. Sorry but do better!

The staff at Daylesford Central Motor Inn were friendly, knowledgeable about the area. The accommodation was clean and suited are short stay. Grounds were clean and inviting with seating under cover or out in the open everywhere so you could just sit and take in the country air.

We required an accessible room and the room and bathroom were excellent. Plenty of room in the bathroom and the shower drainage design allowed the floor to stay dry outside the curtain. The location was perfect for all sightseeing and the room was immaculately clean and well equipped for our stay. The staff were friendly and the cleaner was very helpful. We loved staying here.
