The owners have completely renovated the house to a very high standard creating a luxurious interior combined with a comfortable and relaxed atmosphere. From the soft muted tones of the walls, to the comfortable and stylish furniture and some lovely finishing touches, Skimming Stone will delight you from the moment you step through the front door. The house is on four levels, starting on the lower ground floor with a well equipped kitchen and little snug area, perfect for cosy breakfasts or keeping the children entertained whilst preparing meals. The ground floor has a beautiful sitting room with the main feature being the large brick hearth and wood burner. On the first floor is the elegant principal bedroom with large, luxurious ensuite bathroom and on the top floor is a stylish second bedroom with twin beds and a useful ensuite toilet and basin. Outside is a sunny courtyard garden with garden furniture, the perfect place to relax after a day at the beach, or a day exploring the lovely Georgian town of Deal. Ideal for your four-legged friend to chill out as well, as Skimming Stone is dog friendly. Skimming Stone is perfectly located within a short stroll to the High Street with its artisan food shops, cafés, pubs and restaurants, and is also just minutes from the lovely long seafront promenade and pier. For guests who prefer country walks and historic sites, there’s plenty of choice nearby, including both Deal and Walmer castles, and a fabulous coastal walk to Kingsdown and St Margaret’s Bay. Golfers are spoilt for choice with the local clubs of Royal Cinque Ports and Walmer & Kingsdown golf clubs. Whilst the championship courses of Royal St George’s, and Princes are a short drive away.

We would respectfully ask that the following house rules are adhered to, to avoid any damages. Should any damages arise please note charges may be taken from your security deposit.
Please note check out is 10am. Please ensure you vacate on time to allow our housekeepers to enter the property and prepare it for the next guests.
Smoking is not permitted in the property at any time.
Please note for insurance purposes the number of guests must not exceed the total occupancy of the house.
For fire safety reasons please do not use any candles in the property.
Please be respectful to neighbours. Quiet hours are between 11pm and 9am.
Parties and loud music are not permitted.
