When the sun sets behind the mountain, head to the fire pit for smores and great conversation. Or, challenge your loved ones to a game of horseshoes under the moonlight. Lost Pines Retreat sits on 5 acres and has over 200 Ft on the pristine, Elk Creek. It is the ideal vacation destination.!

Note: there is very limited, to no cell service at the cabin. We do, however, have high speed fiber internet that you can connect to for WiFi calling, texting and web surfing. We also have a landline.

Quiet, peaceful cabin

We actually loved the cabin itself, and the creek flowing in the back, and the backyard was phenomenal. Communication with the owner was very good. We had one or two difficult issues, which were solved after we left. The biggest issue was that it was very far out, 35 minutes minimum to Boone, and whenever a car or truck drove by the dust if it had not rained or was pretty bad. But we love the property, and our two labradors loved the creek! Overall, it was a lovely stay.

Relaxing

The cabin is beautiful and the hosts were very responsive. If you just want a place to relax and get away then this is the place to be. A bit more remote than expected but being right on the creek with nothing, but peace and quiet was just what we needed. The hot tub was definitely enjoyable.
