Denali Park - Ridgeview House with 360 mountain views all around!

Ridgeview is a private home in the Carlo Creek area, just across the river from Denali National Park and about 13 miles South of the Park Entrance. Enjoy numerous dining options within walking distance, including a cafe, pizza pub, and tree-top dining. We are within walking distance of 3 winners of the "Best of Denali." The Perch (Best Dinner), Panorama Pizza (Best Pizza), and Creekside Cabins (Best Breakfast)!

The ground floor contains the living quarters, including three bedrooms and two full bathrooms with all the amenities of a home. Two bedrooms have a queen and twin bed, while the third bedroom has a king, comfortably fitting up to eight guests. The second floor has a semi-private office nook and an open kitchen, dining, and living area with 360 majestic views of mountains in all directions. A wraparound second-floor porch is a perfect place to grill, relax, and look for wildlife after a long day of adventuring and exploring, either in the park or in the uninhabited backcountry a short walk from the property.

If you plan to use the kitchen during your stay, please know that the nearest full-size grocery store is approximately 25 minutes away (north). It's best to get groceries on your way (Healy if traveling from the north, Wasilla/Talkeetna if traveling from the south) or plan to eat at the local restaurants.

The house is thoroughly cleaned and sanitized between guests, but no housekeeping will be done during your stay. Before leaving, please make sure to tidy the home and place any used dishes in the dishwasher. Laundry is available for guest use, and the house will be heated to 70F (21C) by in-floor heating for your arrival (adjustable during your stay via thermostat). Electric heaters are also available in the bedrooms if it gets extra chilly.

We have a few neighboring houses in sight, but you'll visit true backcountry Alaska.

Finally, our friendly, knowledgeable property manager will stay out of your way but is next door along the private drive for any questions about the area or the property during your stay.

Beautiful home with gorgeous views. It was nice to be able to walk 10 minutes to a yummy cafe. Entry on the ground floor to bedrooms, up one level for kitchen and living room, and down one level for laundry. Great location if you can manage stairs easily. One drawback was no bathroom on 2nd living level. Proximity is good for Denali, about 20 minutes away. Fairbanks is about a 2 hour drive. Communication by host was good with clear instructions. Had 2 power outages during our 2 day stay which was more of a bummer our last morning due to no way to make coffee or tea. Home was clean and comfortable with plenty of room for a family. The wrap around balcony porch would have been really nice to use if the weather had not been so rainy during August. Having a fully equipped kitchen was nice :)

Our group of three couples loved our stay at Ridgeview. The location to Denali was perfect, beautiful scenery, quiet, with two delicious restaurants you could walk to. The top floor living space is perfect for relaxing after busy days of adventures. Beautiful wrap around deck too! Everything we needed for cooking and grilling was provided. Hosts were very helpful with suggestions and communication was great.

Wonderful home with beautiful views! We enjoyed our stay here a great deal and would highly recommend this home. The hosts were also very accommodating and responsive. Upon their direction we were able to find and pick fresh blueberries and eat at the nearby cozy cafe. Loved our time here!

Fabulous House with Spectacular View!

We had a wonderful stay at Ridgeview! The house is beautiful, comfortable and well supplied. The location is great, with easy access to the park, and the view of the mountains outside the living room windows is fabulous. The owners were very attentive too. I highly recommend staying at Ridgeview.

Clean, cozy and spacious place near the park

We love the place. It was perfect for our families - 3 generations. Erin provided accurate and detailed info about the place and surrounding area. We bought some food from grocery to supplement restaurant food 8 minutes walk away. Some of saw a mama and baby moose one morning in the front yard.

Just a perfect VRBO stay

The photos don’t do the cabin justice. The process was flawless, we never once had to call anyone for anything. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen and laundry areas had everything we needed. Amazing Stay in Denali

We had a fantastic time at this cabin. It was spacious, clean, and had a wonderful view of the mountains. Proximity to Denali National Park was also great and the surrounding restaurants were perfect for easy dinners after a full day in the park. Would recommend this spot to anyone!

Great place away from the crowds

Beautiful, clean, roomy house. Two great little restaurants within a few minutes. Easy access to the park, but away from all of the tourists staying in the lodges around the park entrance. Nice supply of staples. Highly recommend.

This cabin is beautiful! Everything was well stocked, it was clean, and it’s in a good location. First, the cabin is amazing, and the views are spectacular. The cabin had all the necessary essentials, and the kitchen cabinets were all labeled. The washer/dryer were nice to have, and we did utilize them during our stay. Second, it is only a short 15 minute drive to the National Park entrance. And finally, there are restaurants close by to enjoy. We ate at Panorama Pizza and had a nice meal. There are neighbors that are nearby, but we never saw other people around. It is private enough to enjoy. I would definitely stay here again. Also, communication with the owner was easy, and we always got a quick response. No problems whatsoever.

Denali Home

We were lucky to stay here for 4nights during our recent Denali visit. After two weeks on the road and eating out, it felt so good to be in a house that made it very easy to cook our own dinners and feel ‘right at home’ amidst the beautiful trees and mountains. Great host, house and location! It very comfortably held our 6 adult group, and was conveniently located to an excellent cafe right down the street in walking distance that had a bakery to die for!
