This property identifies itself as located in Golden but it’s not in the town of Golden, it’s a repurposed motel with Best Western name. Having stayed at other BW properties, I was very disappointed. The hotel is run down, poorly lit and generally dirty. The parking lot is poorly maintained and from outside, we observed window screens torn or falling off/missing. It looked more like section 8 housing versus a chain hotel. The front desk clerk (female) was the only bright spot. She was friendly, professional and kind when we asked to cancel the booking due to unexpected circumstances. I would not recommend this hotel to others looking for safe, clean and chain-quality accommodations.

This was a decent property with a very good breakfast! The room was clean and a decent size. Could use a little maintenance-toilet paper holder kept moving so we had to take them off. Very tiny bathroom but it worked. The floor lamp meed a little fixing too! The little touches go along way!! Being clean is very important to me and, this place was that with a friendly staff!

It was pretty good. Room was cleaned but had multiple maint issues. Toipet paper holder broken. Was piled on back of toilet & water warped & dried multiple times. Shower needed maintnance. Even so, bathtub was clean.

Overall a nice stay

I stayed for 4 nights ar this hotel. The room was clean and the front desk staff were friendly. The bed was cery comfortable. Great value for the price. Downsides, the breakfast was mostly gone well before ending and the staff preparing the food were not friendly at all. The room was not soundproof at all! Very loud pipes and could hear talking in room next door. Overall, a decent stay at an affordable location close to denver.

Return from ski trip, January.

The first room I was given was infested by flying insects that were coming out of the window frame, in a strong sun. I killed most of them, about 12 and flushed them down the toilet. I phoned reception to let them know my problem. The receptionist was very helpful and asked me to change my room as soon as possible. My trolley with bags was already in room 155, so I went with my trolley to the new room, No.203. it was fine. Breakfast was good.
