Had to dust the cob webs off the ceiling over the bed with a pillow. The coffee maker in the room didn't work the 2nd morning. The faucets in the shower were loose so shower was either freezing cold or scalding hot. Out of three lights in the bathroom two were burnt out. Place could use a bunch of upgrades.

The hotel was conveniently located off of I-70 in Golden and right next to a Maverick gas station (if you wanted to purchase some convenience store items. The hot breakfast was very good as well.

Up front the staff I interacted with were friendly and helped with our problems. I believe the issues with this hotel lie with corporate or the local manager. When I booked the hotel I did so because it was a Wyndam property - can't go wrong with right? Read on... 1. I checked the website for amenities and it listed a hair dryer so we did not pack one. When we arrived we found our room (107??) did not have one but the front desk moved us to another room (109)? Seriously, move all our partially unpacked bags to another room instead of just giving us a hair dryer? 2. Our new room had a smoke detector but it was on the dresser - not on the wall where it should be. 3. As I took my first shower I found long red hair on the shower wall - we are both in our seventies and very gray. 4. The toilet seat was loose and wobbly - we have enough problems with balance we don't need you adding challenges. 5. We had an iron (thank you) but no Ironing board - your staff got us one. 6. When we got back to our room the second day (three day stay) our keys did not work - easily fixed but why?? 7. While looking for somethin beside the second double bed I found fruit loops cereal. Perhaps your staff need more powerful vacuums. 8. The first night the TV did not work, the second night it was on but we could not adjust the volume. The third night it would not turn on. The solution suggested was that we change rooms (yes again) but we were so frustrated we just read our books. 9. When I went to

Good Enough

The staff was welcoming and accommodating. The first room we were in had an issue with the air conditioner. It was literally falling off of the wall. There was an opening where bugs/insects could go into the room. The staff was accommodating and were able to give us another room. That room was pretty clean but there were some bugs by the window. The only other issue with this room was that the water in the shower would not turn completely off and was constantly running. Some positives about the place were that it was close to the venue we were visiting and there were stores and restaurants in walking distance.

Parking was safe and the breakfast was included as well as a fridge and microwave in our room. Although, our room was not clean, the shower head was leaking (only when water was turned on), there was dirt in the corners of the bathroom (mold?), walls were dirty, lots of dust, dark black hair was found in the bed and the pillow cases were dirty; along with that, we found a shirt from the people that stayed there prior. Overall, we would not recommend, find something else.

had to move rooms three times. first smelt like straight urine to the point where i gagged upon entering (i’ve worked in forensic cleanup and have never gagged at a smell before), second didn’t have hot water and third as well as the rest were improperly cleaned. dirty duvet, dirty used towels still in rooms, and floor unswept. ridiculous. front desk attendant didn’t care and neither did expedia. awful, never again.

My tv only had 4 channels available : 5,9,10 & 11. I brought it the attention of several front desk personnel and maintenance staff. I received no return communication and it was never fixed. I purposely left the remote in a particular spot and it was never touched which leads me to believe that the issue was never even looked at

Not only lots of deferred maintenance but chair for the desk was so low as to be unusable; no outlets accessible from the bed; water took long minutes to become hot; huge jumble of electrical cords, only one of which was connected to anything. Dingy and dark room.
