Beachside Cottage - aivan rannalla!

Beachside Cottage on mukava, perinteinen Bajan-koti, jossa on eklektinen sekoitus antiikkia ja nykyaikaista sisustusta. Mökki on pienellä bluffilla aivan rannan yläpuolella, kirjaimellisesti askeleen päässä Karibianmeren kristalliveistä. Se sijaitsee kätevästi pääosin asuinalueella St James, josta pääsee helposti läheisiin kauppoihin, ravintoloihin ja muihin palveluihin. Voit vuokrata auton tai kokea julkisen liikenteen seikkailun - bussipysäkit ovat vain lyhyen kävelymatkan päässä.
Tämä loma-asunto sijaitsee kävelymatkan päässä kohteesta Paynes Bay Beach. Majoituspaikka tarjoaa asiakkaille esimerkiksi pyykinpesutilat. Loma-asunnossa tarjoaa asiakkaille ilmaisen Wi-Fi-yhteyden ja keittiön.

Great Location

Relaxing, peaceful and private villa. Great location and all the comfort of home in Caribbean setting. Really handy for Jordans supermarket and buses to Holetown and beyond. Good WIFi and fast internet with smart TV. Overall unfussy accommodation with everything you need for a restful break.

Fantastic property

We have just got back from a fantastic 10 days away in this wonderful property it is really undersold on the description the property is comfortable and well maintained the beds are to die for !! 10 steps take you down to a small piece of heavenly beach it was ours for the whole 10 days there was never anyone on our little patch except for one day when we encountered 2 baby turtles we called out the rescue people and had a very exciting morning helping to dig out baby turtles and eggs which where located just beneath the house, snorkelling on the reef that is just off the beach is a dream although I would recommend beach shoes as there are crabs on the beach and it is rocky in the water all in all the most fabulous time away and the best house

Great cottage and stay

Great cottage, located on the beach, lovely patio area, great bedrooms with comfy beds. The cottage was very clean and comfortable, and exactly as the photos describe. Cannot wait to go back. Good communication from the owners Miles and Karen.

Perfect hideaway

Cute cottage nestle amongst the trees right on the beach. A few stairs down brings you to a quiet beach yet it is nearby great restaurants and bars. With a well equipped kitchen it's easy to stay in paradise. ( Grocery store is a stone throw away) Would come back in a heartbeat

We loved beachside cottage

We spent 30 days in this lovely cottage. Wonderful water views from the covered lanai. Cottage was well equipped. Very comfy beds with nice bedding. Plenty of good quality towels. Short walk to a good little grocery store though be warned that the sidewalks are narrow and periodically nonexistent on a very busy road. The only minor downside is that despite being waterfront the area directly in front of the house is rocky and not really possible to get in the ocean there so you have to walk a couple minutes either direction to a beach with easy access. But… neither area is easy to access if mobility is an issue. We had no problem and the swimming is wonderful!! Would happily go back to Beachside cottage.

We stayed at the apartment before but after seeing the cottage we had to book it. It was spacious

We loved everything about the cottage. It was close to the supermarket and very very close to the beach. Public transport was excellent travelling towards Bridgetown or Holeton.

Beachside comfort

Lovely cottage in nice area with fabulous views out the back , spacious and comfortable. The biggest let down with the property was the kitchen which really wasnt as clean as expected, i moved the breadbin and found food behind it! Down the sides of the washing machine which has a pullout wheeled cover over it was filthy which i pulled out and mopped myself. The cupboards are very old and well used which wouldnt be a problem if they had been clean. The cupboards doors were physically dirty and the items around the kitchen including the microwave and grill were dusty and greasy. There were some stock items in the fridge and cupboard but we threw a few away as out of date. Bathrooms were clean but the skirtings around the lounge were dirty. Nice loungers to sit on out the back patio area and well equipped with beach towels etc but couldnt see anything off that patio as the bushes have grown too high since photos on advert taken. Sounds like a big moan but thought we should mention apart from all this a fab holiday on a lovely island with lovely friendly people.

Beautiful cottage

We truly enjoyed our stay in the cottage. The location is great, the cottage is clean, bright and a throwaway from the ocean. Our hosts were friendly and very helpful! We look forward to coming again!

Quiet Getaway

The cottage was the perfect quiet oasis. It was quite neat............ fully equipped with all the amenities and more. Nestled on the beach with the calming sound of the waves. Furthermore, the private access to the beach & outdoor shower available post the beach experience was just ideal. The property owner Miles was extremely accommodating and readily available. I would most definitely return & strongly recommend the cottage to anyone looking for a private, tranquil seaside getaway.

Peaceful

We were greeted by Karen, who was so gracious. Each bedroom had a king size bed. All the rooms had levered windows which gave a Casablanca feel. The terrace was perfect for our meals. The breeze that came through was inviting and the view breathtaking.

Wonderful place

Place was great!. We were met by Karen upon arrival, recieved a tour and let us settle in quickly. Propane BBQ was perfect. We had a couple unforeseen circumstances (no fault to owner), but was quickly remedied by Karen as she was only a phone call away. Very professional and responsive. Beds are very comfortable and the main bedroom, you listen to the ocean waves all night. It's so calming. We've been Fitts Village in the past and were very familiar with the area. Supermarket is only a 10 min walk either by road or beach (at lowtide). Or there is a bigger supermarket Masseys in Holetown by public transit which has much more options. Snorkeling is good right out in front of house if you can get past the coral. We just swam over the coral rather than try to walk. We were fine. There is a more popular area for swimming which is more beachy that is just a hop, skip and jump away. During low tide you can walk there by beach as it is just past the rock wall or at high tide take a 2 min walk on the road to the beach access path with no issues. Just be aware of traffic and stay on grass and paths, as cars drive quickly and the roads are narrow. We had a senior in her 80s with us, and had no issues using the road access with her. Everyone is friendly as always. Will always love Barbados!

Excellent Beachfront Property

Miles and Karen's place was great. They were superb hosts, always available for help. The villa was a clean beachfront property close to essential amenities such as supermarket, gas station etc. The washrooms were clean with excellent choice of scented toiletries and freshly washed towels with plenty of extras in the room closets. The closet had snorkeling masks which were great for the kids. The kitchen had all the necessary items. The stove/oven was a little old but did the job. Can't say much about TV as we didn't really watch anything. Overall it's a five star from us. Will definitely recommend to anyone coming to Barbados! (One suggestion, on the 2nd or 3rd day of our trip, mosquitoes started appearing, maybe due to rainfall. It would be great if the windows and doors are covered with mosquito/insect net)
