I’ve never done a hotel review, but this place deserves one! Very clean, quiet and spacious rooms! Friendly staff, great pool for the kids and the breakfast had more choices than any other hotel I’ve ever stayed at. Not to mention the very reasonable price tag. We will be back!

Great stay

The staff was very king and helpful. Was able to leave are vehicle at the hotel for $10.00 per day and get shuttle service to the airport. We will be staying here again.

Baymont is high quality in all areas, close to the airport, and has a good price. It gets high marks for everything except their "Park and Fly" program which does not save the client anything over the parking lots surrounding the airport.

Clean but plenty didn’t work

The room was clean. But the toilet barely flushed. I had to hold it down and there was a 50/50 chance of it working. One of the light fixtures didn’t work. The room was noisy because the highway runs alongside the hotel.

Short night with a Flight

We stayed for a night before our early morning flight. Beds were comfortable and it looks as though there are some great amenities that we didn't get to utilize since we arrived late and left early. Shuttle service to the airport was perfect, as well as pick up upon return when we landed. They went the extra mile when we got back at 11:00 at night and even helped us jump our car when it wouldn't start in negative degree weather! Awesome service and friendly staff. Would definitely stay again and urge others to as well.

Wonderful staff, but missed a bit on the sleeping

The service workers are great. As a whole, the best service staff I have seen in many years. My only knocks are that they give you four cheap pillows and I struggled to make them comfortable enough to sleep vs two larger pillows of higher quality. My sleep was a 6 out of ten. I thought the mattress were great, but my 75 year old mother struggled to climb into her bed as the mattress are at least six inches higher than the standard bed. The guy running the kitchen is an excellent worker who tries real hard at customer service

Above and beyond service!

Three friends and I recently stayed at the Baymont in Des Moines to attend a scrapbooking weekend. The hotel was not the newest, but was comfortable and clean. The staff was accommodating and kind. Two of us needed to stay another night and they helped us switch rooms easily. My travel pillow had been left behind in the first room and the housekeeping service tracked us down in our new room to deliver it to me. That was beyond excellent service! Kindness goes a long way in my book. We WILL return!

Awesome place to stay if you fly out of DSM

Awesome place to stay if you need to fly out of DSM. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub. Plus they have a sauna! Hotel is older, but very well maintained. Staff were super helpful. Airport shuttle is on the hour starting at 4am. Thanks again!
