It was a crazy, busy weekend in town full of marathon runners and the front desk ladies were very friendly, calm and professional. The hotel lobby is beautiful and our room was very clean. Would definitely stay here again. I would say more, but gotta run! :)

Cleanliness of the room could be better, drain stopper in the sink doesn't work, toilets are super loud, some of the breakfast was cold. The omelette station was great though, and the employees we encountered during our stay were nice and helpful.

Nice breakfast buffet; hotel lobby looks nice; building looking shabby in spots if you watch the details; room cleanliness was okay, tile floor in bathroom had dirty grout - carpet stained; luckily sheets and towels were clean! The Embassy Suites Des Moines is my go to for hosting gatherings. Rooms are spacious and clean. Many great memories made here, from my own wedding at Simon Estes amphitheater to birthday parties. And can’t go wrong with made to order omelets in the morning!
