Racing Weekend with Friends

Hotel is excellent. Great location for the races and town centre. Breakfast amazing. Also ate in the hotel Saturday night. Each meal we had was gorgeous.

Awful food though great staff.

Staff were great and so was service. Food was awful 2 nights on the trot with only an apology for 2 expensive meals. Not even a tiny offer of reduction.on this basis we will think twice before staying again or recommending.

Good Hotel - Ideal for Race Goers

The food options were good but a bit pricey for average quality. There were a lot of extra supplements on top of the meal prices. The beds are comfortable and rooms modern and clean. Bath sheets rather than normal size towels would be welcomed

This is our go to hotel when I bring my daughter up to visit her family , everything about this hotel I love. The staff are super friendly and helpful. Nothing is too much trouble. The breakfast is delicious with so much choice. The lay out of the hotel is great. Rooms are modern and clean and comfortable. The view of the racecourse is an added bonus. I don’t follow horse racing but I live the view.

Only thing i could say was wrong was there was a big dark mark on the wall and the cleaner tried to walk in my room 5 minutes after i just arived. Other then that it was a verry enjoyable stay.

Crafting weekend

Overall we had a great couple of days stay, despite not able to get disabled park spot for my mum on the first day of our stay, plus I requested a room close to the lift at the time of the booking to my mum life a little easier for her, instead we more or less had the same room as last year. On the up side we didn’t have to pay for parking.

Convenient for racecourse - slow to check in and unable to get any food as fully booked even though empty tables - which was ok as we went to a local place and ate which was delicious Drinks over priced and no water in the room you have to buy it from reception! Think 2 bottles complimentary in the fridge would be a nice touch as rooms aren’t cheap
