It is difficult to understand how the property maintains a four star rating. The room was basic, lacked air conditioning, and the headboard did not match the size of the bed, leaving a noticeable gap. The shower also took close to two minutes to warm up. The lift was out of service, and from the date of the notice we received, it appears this had been an ongoing issue for some time. In all, the stay fell well below expectations and we are unlikely to return.

Room was quirky. The amenities was good tho having wine glasses in the room will be ideal as well. Staff is polite though the brekkie staff are slower to react. Location is strategic and convenient to shops, restaurants and some offices since it's close to Victoria Street.

Stayed for 2 nights Hotel gave us an upgrade due to the poor service from Expedia themselves who told lies. Jade the reception manager was very helpful dealing with this situation. Hotel was lovely the room and see view was second to none. Breakfast was excellent with a very good choice of food.

Our room (a little dated) and bathroom was cleaned daily and supplied with fresh towels. The breakfast menu and options were more then adequate for all tastes and the hot food was always freshly cooked. The staff were attentive and friendly with a smile to go with it in all areas of the hotel. The bar looked adequately stocked for all tastes. We enjoyed our stay and would definately recommend this hotel.

Stayed for a weekend break with my husband . Room very clean and well stocked . It was a little on the small side and unfortunately there was no view as the lower half of the window was frosted glass so it did feel a little claustrophobic. very comfy bed and the pillows were just how I like them soft and squidgy. The breakfast had plenty of choice and was of a good standard, however the service was poor on both mornings. On day 1 we had to wait quite a long time before our order was taken for the cooked part of the breakfast. On day 2 I don't know if they were trying to make up for the previous morning but we hadn't finished our cereal when the cooked breakfast arrived and was left on the table going cold while we finished what we were eating. Reception staff were helpful when information about bus numbers and times was needed.
