Henry's Cabin and the White Birch Cabin are two tiny homes within the new Johnswood Off Grid Cabins compound. If you're looking for more than a campsite and less than a full house, these off grid cabins sleep 4 people in one and 6 in the other - they're a creative alternative to tent camping! Henry's Cabin and the White Birch Cabin are next door to each other with a shared fire pit area. Want to camp with even more friends? The site also accommodates one RV (no water/electricity) - ask for details!
Each cabin includes its own Port-o-John, charcoal grill, two chairs on the front porch, a table with two chairs inside, two battery operated hanging lanterns, and sheets/bedding. Each cabin has a propane wall heater. Please bring your own water, towels, camp chairs, coolers, charcoal, and other camping gear and necessities for cooking, washing up, etc.
The Johnswood Off Grid Cabins are tucked off of Johnswood Rd, near Dickenson Lake fishing and kayaking, and adjacent to hundreds of acres of State land for hunting. The cabins are also less than 1/2 mile from Kreeton/Glen Cove Rd, which connects to over 60 miles of off-road ATV and ORV trails and routes. Plus, they're down the road from the popular swimming and kayaking destination, Big Shoal Beach!
