The property was okay and was close to the river. Check in was not great. They seemed confused and new at their jobs. They were supposed to call when our rooms were ready and take our bags to the room. They never called and when we went back to check the rooms had been ready. I guess they forgot to call and our bags were still downstairs. They also couldn’t find one of my bags at first. The rooms are small and need some attention.

The rooms were too small. Hardly any space to move around, very compact did not have proper place to open the bag even.. Very bad views after paying top dollars. They gave us one room on time and other after an hour. In spite requesting they did not give us rooms on the the same floor saying that its booked and after an hour they called us saying that they have made a mistake in our booking they gave someone else's room to us and then they had a rom instantly available. I was sliding from centre to side on the bed. The metress was tilting. Breakfast and pizza that we ordered were good.

Everything was very nice. All of the staff were nice and helpful, except for one lady on the reception desk who was quite abrupt. There were clearly big spikes in when customers were at reception and it was clear the staff struggled then. I’d suggest working out a way to even out many people needing reception at the one time.

Good hotel that has air conditioning. If you can, book a room that comes with breakfast. Be prepared for crowds at breakfast but it doesn’t take long to find a table. The Luas tram is right out the front door. Staff is friendly with some more helpful than others. Bathroom is small but clean and modern.

We really liked the quiet location, away from the busy/noisy Temple Bar area. Staff were friendly and personable, Aidan was a hoot, offering a good laugh and helpful information. The hotel is a quick walk to the River Liffey and bus/tram stops. A walk to Temple Bar area is reasonable. They have the most fantastic Irish Breakfast Buffet. Our room had a modern feel and good layout, with multiple USB charging ports. The King bed was actually a King, not a queen or large double size as many " king" beds are in European hotels. However, the mattress was too firm for us, a topper would have made it softer.

Hampton by Hilton is an excellent choice Hotel if visiting Dublin, located in a fantastic area with all the amenities you would need, the staff were fantastic, the included breakfast was good but busy, best to get up early AM for breakfast imo, walking distance to everything you would need with a light rail train right outside that was easy and inexpensive to use, would definitely stay here again if visiting Dublin
