Unfortunately we were assigned (by the property management - NOT reachable at 5pm local time) an upstairs room that was NOT handicap accessible (my wife has a mobility impairment) - the on-site staff did all they could do to accommodate but the "only" downstairs room they had available (still up several stairs) was VERY small with only one queen (full?) bed. We were "uncomfortable" at best. Expedia's lack of handling of communication prompted us to call ALL hotels (4 more days at different locations NOT booked through Expedia) that we have booked for this road trip to ensure they had honored our requests for a handicap accessible room - they were honored!! No thanks to Expedia's system that does NOT communicate well to the properties about handicap accessibility, we will no longer be using Expedia to make reservations.

The shower head was not working properly. The faucet in the shower loose. The shower not draining well. The microwave door was not opening/sticking. The outdated curtains would not close. They could not provide extra pillows. Overpriced for a run down motel. Disappointed to say the least.

Staff helpful recommending restaurants in the area. Close to the friend selection train station (10”drive). Is your stay more than one night you need to remember to flag your room for clean towels and more coffee.

This was a motel that had been nicely refurbished. Quiet! Could not hear anyone beside us which is great! Occasionally heard a door slam near us but overall it was much quieter than the newer hotels with someone over you tromping around late at night or extra early. We would definitely stay here again. No breakfast! Would like one just for the time saving aspect!! Maybe I’m old school but when you stay more than one day, I think someone should come in, exchange any towels left on the floor, empty the trash and provide additional cups and plastic glasses. After all, you don’t get a discount for the second day. They would probably do it if requested but I don’t think you should have to request it! Just do a quick inspection!! I realize I’m on my soapbox!!!

Decent Stay in Good Location

Good location for access to downtown, reasonable price, clean and comfortable. Only problem was the TV internet streaming connection worked for an hour then stopped. The next morning the desk staff said we could have tried unplugging the Roku box and plugging in again. Had to ask, I guess.

The light above the bathroom vanity was coming off the wall. The rail to hang clothes was broken and no hangers were provided. The first thing the manage said when I checked in was the room would not be cleaned daily and if I needed clean towels pick them up in the lobby.

There were no cups/glasses in the room, even though there was a coffee maker. The bed was very uncomfortable and it creeked like crazy. My husband had a terrible back ache when he woke up. We will not be staying here again.
