This hotel is located right next to a major highway, so traffic noise is always noticable. The idea of a mostly kiosk managed hotel doesn't work well. At night and in the evening, when the front desk is closed, the overall feel of the surroundings, both inside and outside the hotel, project a feel of being less safe. Being an extended stay hotel, the clientele is definitely a different feel from a traditional stay hotel. The walls are thin so you clearly hear conversation around you while in your room. Despite the rooms being non smoking, very strong smells of cannabis emanate throughout the hotel, especially in the evenings. I would think the old addage, "When the cats away, the mice will play," is most fitting for this hotel. When the front desk closes at 5pm daily, all rules and regulations can easily be ignored and broken.
I will say the front desk and housekeeping staff were both excellent overall. Both provided excellent customer service and both ladies were most helpful and sincere in their interactions.
I'm sure this hotel is great for extended stay guests, who prefer a greater degree of freedom. For the standard hotel guest, who stays a night or two, I would suggest looking at the numerous other hotels available in the same localized area of this hotel.
