The Matrix Hotel was a great choice for our weekend visit to Downtown Edmonton. The upgrade to a Platinum Suite was a nice touch. Very good hotel at this price level.

The area that the hotel is located in is a bit sketchy and one vehicle behind me in their open parking lot had its passenger side front window smashed in the night. Also, on the Friday night, there were people partying on my floor until 3:45am and the noise easily transferred through seemingly paper thin walls and I’m a deep sleeper with 3 kids.
