Really nice hotel and great team/Chop restaurant

Great suites, decent space, comfy bed and well equipped. Had a nightmare with the WiFi - one laptop couldn't connect at all, connecting mobile phone was sporadic. The laptop it did work on was fine but given I was staying for work, it really impacted my stay.

I arrived very tired 90 minutes before check in, after a stressful six hour drive. The room assigned to me wasn’t ready but one on a lower floor was substituted. I was able to use this room upon arrival, which was such a relief! There was no bathtub. However, I appreciated a spacious shower, comfy bed, fridge, room darkening drapes, quiet space, clean carpets and clean elevator, clean common areas etc. Unlike many places these days, the swimming pool and hot tub were actually operational! There is a gym with treadmills that also worked! Attached is a nice steak house that also serves breakfast. You do need a vehicle to access this accommodation as it is in a new area of Sherwood Park surrounded by other similar accommodations. I will use this site again - much, much better than some places in Sherwood Park and on a Sunday, priced competitively.
