The trail to the treehouse is a meandering path through the woods from the parking area. This trail includes 22 rustic steps and is a combination of mulch and pebbles which is not conducive to rolling luggage.Guest must be able to climb stairs.
Access to the loft is by ladder.
Sleep cozy among the trees in this authentic treehouse while listening to the sounds of the waterfall below. Enjoy hiking on our 33 private acers adjacent to the Cherokee national Forest or relaxing in your private hot tub on the deck below.

The space
This 330 sq. ft. treehouse has a loft, main level and a deck beneath. The loft features a king size bed a 32" Roku TV (Netflix and wi-fi included). The main level includes a living area with a queen size pull-out bed, kitchen with an apartment-size refrigerator/freezer, a microwave, and a single burner cooktop. The kitchen also includes a coffee maker, tea kettle, pots, pans, dishes, utensils, coffee and sugar. The upper deck overlooking the waterfall features a grill, bistro table and chairs. The lower deck features an outside dining area, two chair hammocks and a 3-person hot tub which is the perfect way to finish off your hike up to the Appalachian trail. The deck area also includes an outdoor shower.

The beautiful detached ground-level bathroom features a shower, sink, incinerating toilet, bath towels, soap, shampoo and conditioner, and a hair dryer.

This is by far one of the cutest places I have ever stayed. The hosts were wonderful and so sweet. Being able to sit on the porch and listen to the waterfall was so peaceful. I couldn’t recommend this place more!

Alice in Wonderland Treehouse Tea Party Vibes

This was an amazing adventure for me and my girlfriend! We stayed here as a birthday getaway so I could force myself to disconnect from work and other things. The lack of cell service for sure helped with that. With that in mind! Save you gate code and dont rely on your email. Write it down or screen shot it or else you're going to have quite the hike ahead of you. Haha I learned the hard way so you dont have to! The hosts of the property put a lot of love and care into this place and it shows! They pay attention to the finer details and thats something I appreciate dearly. Upon entering the treehouse there was a cute little birthday banner and 2 little cupcakes in glass domes sitting on the counter. It made everything feel very storybook and I couldnt have been happier with this experience. To conclude this rather long review, if you want to feel like you're staying in a storybook, or one of those a!r-bnb commercials with the little 3D house then THIS is the place! Thats the best way I can describe it, OH! Or like you're on a Wes Anderson set/movie! The guy who directed Fantastic Mr. Fox. This adventure isn't for everyone though, it feels like this is designed perfectly for the right type of adventurous person. So do keep that in mind!
