Awesome rental!!

We absolutely loved the Looney Rooms! The house was exactly as described (if not better), super clean, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect. Highly, highly recommend this spot to anyone considering it. Would absolutely stay here again!

Annual tr(Ale) Cru weekend (centered around a day hike, then a brewery) with 11 family members, ages 22-63. “Looney Rooms” was the best rental we have used. Plenty of space, in town but with a nice buffer to neighbors, and a really cool decor. Will definitely be back.

Perfect Spot for a Goofy Stay

Looney Rooms was perfect for our large group of friends on a week long getaway! The property was as described and perfectly located. There are several restaurants within walking distance as well as a grocery store for essentials that we frequented, and the property had plenty of parking for our group with several cars.

Family Christmas Ski trip

I was very excited to stay at this creative property. I had artists and grandchildren with me who loved all they had to look at. The kids loved the loft area. Adults and teens loved being able to walk into town. This vacation was a success!

Exceeds expectations

A wonderful mix of art museum and comfortable, well appointed, and clean accommodations. Hosts are exceptionally kind and helpful who went above and beyond to make use feel welcome. Perfect proximity to downtown with a private quiet surrounding to the home. Certainly a unique experience; one that we will remember for years to come.

I've stayed in dozens of VRBOs all over North America. None were anywhere near as cool, funky and unique as this place. Suzy and Frankie were the kindest and warmest hosts we've ever encountered. Perfect place with special surprises ensure we will stay here again the next time in Ellicotville.

This was the most incredible place I have ever stayed in. I rented it for a bachelor party, WOW was this place awesome! We were looking for a fun place and dam did we get it! It was so unique and cool, every hour you cloud hear someone saying “what the heck is this??” You’d have to stay here for a week just to see everything in it! Owners were great with check in. We had the time of our lives! 2 blocks away from the bars. Great outdoor area! I would rate this a 10.5 out of 10, that’s how awesome it is. Thanks so much for making our party so memorable!

Overall our stay was very nice. The loft was very hot the first night there and I didn’t think we were going to be able to use it, but we bought a fan and opened the window and eventually it cooled down enough that we were able to use that space. Some areas were a little dusty

weekend getaway with friends

What a fun place! Full of color, fun and clean. We had a blast with friends in this magical house. Perfect decor in a ski village. We had so much fun at this house that we spent our first night at home instead of wondering the village. We just did not want to leave this happy, accommodating home. Check in and out was so easy as property owners were helpful and attentive. We will definitely be renting again!

Rented this house for a bachelorette weekend and it was perfect. The host responded quickly to every question and even helped me with places for our pub crawl. The little things that are a pain to remember to pack are all there for you which is a big help. Plenty of room, nice & clean, location is perfect, outdoor space is awesome. I have nothing bad to say about this experience. I highly recommend!

Family ski trip

A truly unique property. Lots of space and had everything you need for a large group to stay. We ranged from 19 years old to 70 years old. Every age range was conformable with what the home offered. It it the most off the wall decorated home i have ever stayed at and we just loved it. It is a short walk to town, and only about 2 minute drive to the ski slopes. I can say for sure we will be back in the future.

Great location! Fun Decor!

We stayed with 12 female family members ranging in age from 21 to 62. The property is amazing; funny, tons of space, and well kept. You can't beat the location to town. We hope to return each year. Suzie and Frank are extremely nice. You can tell they take pride in their home. They even had homemade pizza for us the first night. Our only suggestion is allowing guests to have access/control to outdoor patio music. It was controlled by the owners who weren't always home. It was so loud we couldn't hear one another on the patio both nights. Not a deal breaker as we would love to return..just trying to be helpful.
