Room no. 15 clean and warm. Spacious. Could have benefited from a second chair, complimentary water and biscuits with the tea tray but these are minor points. Staff very busy but courteous. Overall a pleasant stay. Would happily re visit.

The room (no. 6) was cramped and COLD, and the cold tap in the bath didn't work. There was a cold draft in the bathroom, and there was no heating there. . The staff were lovely. The food was good.

Clean and comfortable room with a good bed and very warm on a cold November night. Staff very friendly and helpful. Parking available but hard to find. Breakfast offering was lovely. Would highly recommend.

Room was large but so tired. It was also bloody cold. We had no hot water! It was literally Luke warm water only. Cooked breakfast was ok but the continental offering was very poor (no meats/seafood/cheeses/fresh fruit (other than a banana). Basically it was cereal and breads. Expedia booking was for room, Breakfast & Parking. Hotel declined the parking due to the car park being full and stated they do not reserve parking spaces! Which raises the question as to why Expedia sold it to us as a package?

Food was good but the room was cold and noisy due to bread making underneath. Management moved us to a quieter room at 1.00am but new room still very cold. When we complained in the morning management gave us a full refund. Definitely not suitable for the elderly. No lift. Loads of stairs and long corridors. An old rambling building full of creaky floor boards. Rooms were dusty and lots of cobwebs. We only stayed there because travel lodge was fully booked. Originally we had booked 2 nights but fled home after one.

My son and I stayed at The Lamb for two nights while visiting Ely. What a great spot. The staff were very friendly and helpful and we could have a laugh with them. The food in the pub is second to no one. We sampled many of the offerings and it was all exceptional. I can't say enough good things about The Lamb.

The room was very tired, with a small bed with cheap synthetic bedding and peeling wall paper on the ceiling Multiple cobwebs and signs of not being fully cleaned Bathroom was tired with dirt ingrained into cracked tiles and bath panel shame as its a great location and could be a great building etc
