Th8s was a mistake during booking you have rwfused to give me my money back.my daughter thought she was booking in door county wi not manominne wi.i had eye surgey.within minutes i callwd gou and explsined the situation.you gave me expedia number they contacted you .and ive had nothing but a run around since monday .it s my birthday tommrrow.you kept my money and refuse to refund me .rherefor we will nwver never stay at your hotel anywhere in the united states agian.and my credit card will recover my money .you did not supply me with anything and i recieved nothing not a serice or anyrhing from you except a had time.rhey will get my money back they always do .so stay the hell off my phone .your nasty thiefs and you steal peoples hard earned money .do not contact me agisn huhbib.towel head .

Very disappointed, will never stay here again.

In one word, my stay at the Econo Lodge on the Bay is "Disappointed". Whoever submitted the photos and the description of this property to Hotels.com, made it look and sound far better than it actually was. They stated that this property was "award winning". They sure fooled me. Based on what I saw and read on the website, I really thought that this property was a significant step-up from the other Econo Lodge properties I've seen over the years. Well, I was wrong. The minute I walked into the hotel, I smelled the odor of stale cigarette smoke, just like you would years ago before most hotels banned smoking. Looking around the place, it felt like I was going back in time. This feeling was reinforced when I entered my room, which struck me as being small, dark, and outdated (with the exception of the bed, which appeared to be fairly new). By the way, the key to my room didn't work so I went down stairs to the check-in desk and the desk clerk had to reactivate the card and he said there was a problem with the key activation device - sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. (Note: I was staying there two nights and the next day the same thing happened again. The same clerk was on duty and said don't blame me, I didn't do anything wrong, it's the machine's fault. The "breakfast" offered was sad - poor selection, poor quality, and some items gone. The only positives for me were that the hotel was clean and quiet. My conclusion, I will never stay at an Econo Lodge again.

We were getting ready in the morning and the housekeeper keep opening the door to our room when I was in the bathroom getting ready and undressed. This pist me off. It was not even the check out time. I stayed here one other time and thought I would give them the second chance. NEVER AGAIN. I don't appreciate people coming into our room with out even knocking or saying anything.

The view of the water by the hotel was beautiful. The hotel is located on a busy road so the entire night we could hear the noise of vehicles passing by. The hotel bathtub had a large burn mark in the bottom of tub and stains on the sheets. No elevator in the hotel so we had to drag our luggage up and down the stairs to second floor which was not practical. The front desk clerk didnt even ask if anyone would prefer to have a room on the first floor. The view of the water located at the end of the hotel was the best part of our experience.

This hotel was listed as "pet" friendly. I reserved a pet friendly room for my cat and me. When i came to check in, it said "no cats". Is a cat not a pet? If they dont allow cats, it needs to be clear on the reservation site. Even though there was only one car in the parking lot ( so obviously hurting for business), they still wouldnt let me and my cat have a room.

Please clarify your hotel room descriptions to identify the extra convienences you are getting when paying more money for a room. Apparently when you pay more money, you are getting a room with a hot tub, not a room overlooking the water. It didn't matter to me either way, but it should be clearly identified. I paid the extra money just to see what the surprise would be?! Turned out it would be a hot tub, but I declined and still choose the bay view room. Oddly enough, there's no bay view rooms with hot tubs. Oh and the TV was tiny and only had traditional cable channels full of commercials. If I stayed in the area again, I wouldn't choose the Econo-lodge again.

I enjoy going into a fellow friend at the front desk from where I was from. It was really neat to see him just relate customer service wise. When I checked in. I felt like I was at home. I got there about 4:00 so it was a gentleman was a beard and he is a very very good worker and I appreciate his hospitality and making sure that I had a accessible room for me and my service dog. I can make short trips these days and even living in Michigan. Sometimes I have to stop and stay and I love staying at you Resort especially with it on the bay what a beautiful area you have. Thank you so much for the hospitality the generosity and kindness that you gave us
