the bedroom was small, and has one small window that had traffic ( people) walking right next to it all times so not nice to open the curtains. room was located in the last building in the back on the first floor. the bedsheets were clean and bathroom was ok despite very old. the shower door did not close properly. there is parking included. the breakfast was all sweet nothing savoury (mostly cereals and milk) this place was rather dissapointing.

Our room didn't have a closet or a place to hang clothes. The manager brought us a a clothes stand immediately. The shower was small. The bed was good! The full kitchen was great! The staff was very nice and accommodating!

Limited parking overflow parking is in the back of property dark and dirt road area with no direction of parking. Hard to see to walk back to your unit.

Awesome Stay!

We loved our stay at Appenzell and plan to go again. Hailie gave us a wonderful check in experience, and was so pleasant and helpful! Our room was beautiful and spacious, and exceeded all expectations. It was very clean and comfortable. The only issue really was some noise in the early mornings, from plumbing and slamming doors, but that's often the case at any hotel as early risers get their day started. Evenings were really quiet. It was a great experience, and we're so grateful!

Clean and Hot Tub

Overall the place was cute and clean. We booked this hotel because the hotels.com listing said it had an elevator. There are many other properties that are comparable that didn’t have elevators and once we got there we realized a lot of those other properties are only one floor. We checked in and was told our room doesn’t have an elevator but luckily we only had to drag our stuff up about 8 steps. They do have some rooms available that do have elevators so be sure to ask before booking if you need one. Breakfast had no protein so we didn’t end up eating there. Cereals, breads, danishes was about it. They do offer snacks in the evening like s'mores, granola bars, etc which was nice. The hot tub was nice. Location was good. Down the street from the grocery store.
