The house sleeps 8 with three bedrooms which include a Queen, a double and 2 single bunk beds. There is also a Queen pullout for additional sleeping space.

There are two fireplaces to enjoy after a day of hiking or shopping along with a gas BBQ for outdoor cooking. The Estes Park area has an abundance of wildlife including elk, mule deer, fox, coyotes and bears -- enjoy from a distance. The cabin was clean and had everything needed for a pleasant stay. The cabin was comfortable, warm when we needed it to be warm, without even using the fireplace, and would cool off easily with open windows and a fan, (if it heated up during the day). We loved coming back to the hot tub every night after sightseeing, hiking, and ATV rental adventures. We cooked in the kitchen most mornings and some dinners, using the stocked kitchen essentials, (and a few extras such as coffee, some seasonings, filters for the drip coffee maker). Also included are kitchen dishwashing liquid, hand soaps, shampoos and conditioner for bathrooms, laundry detergent and fabric softener. Plenty of towels for hot tub and bathrooms, as well as extra blankets. The views were amazing!! We loved sitting out on the deck and downstairs patio soaking it all in. Loved the visits from the deer around the cabin as well as elk nearby. We had a wonderful time overall!

Such a lovely home in a beautiful area. We were close to everything which was so nice. I really enjoyed my coffee in the early mornings on the deck while admiring the view of the mountains. We appreciated the host’s quick response when we did reach out.

I booked this house for the view based on the photos on the website. Upon arrival I found the house to be dirty and rundown. The carpet and furniture are worn and stained. There are multiple items in need of repair. We washed are own bedding to remove stale smell and hair. I would look for better accommodations next time as the view is everywhere to to found in Estes Park.

Location! View!

As most have said, the location - entrance to park, 3 min from downtown - and the "ridge view" make this place. There are some squeaky floors and a description on how to best use the 2 climate systems would help, but for us, we figured it out and we thoroughly enjoyed the best of Estes Park from this "chalet".

Breathtaking views

No need to watch tv when you have the most beautiful. Have coffee and stare out for hours. The hot tub was our kids favorite part with viewing the sunset and stars before bed.

Views were breathtaking & our stay was okay. The home itself was okay but very noisy, creaking every step we took. There were numerous dirty dishes, we washed everything before utilizing it. The hot tub had so much clorine in it we weren't able to enjoy it. The owner did communicate promptly with me & overall we enjoyed our stay.

Prefect Bookish get away

Perfect location!

The house is perfectly located: convenient to town and RMNP, yet feels like private mountainside getaway. Comfortable beds provide excellent sleep after a day of hiking and wildlife/sight-seeing.

Nice home with outstanding views

This is a comfortable house set up a hill from the centre of town, giving wonderful views of the Rockies. It is a short uphill drive on a single track gravel road (shared with only 2 other houses) from a paved road, and then uphill on the house driveway to park right outside (you have to reverse back down). The house is comfortable and clean, with modern household appliances. I particularly enjoyed the coffee-maker, best out of the 4 houses I have stayed in on my 3 week trip!

The views were amazing and location very convenient to town and RMNP. The newly installed AC was much appreciated, and we also enjoyed both the hot tub and fire table. Property manager was very responsive.

Good location

We felt the property was well situated and roomy. However there were not enough dining chairs inside for our family of 5 and because it was so hot we were unable to use the outdoor seating. The upstairs lounge was unbearable to sit in when the sun was shining through as it was burning hot and there are no curtains or blinds on the windows. Unfortunately the outside downstairs seating was right next to the rubbish bin that was padlocked so we weren’t able to move it to make for a more pleasant seating experience.
