It was a fun home to stay in over the new years . The stove was not the easiest to navigate, the markings on the control knobs are worn off and it was not the easiest to cook on the burners were not very consistent. A light above the hot tub would be nice it was hard to see anything while trying to use it after dark. Other than that we had a fine visit.

I would expect higher quality and more comfortable furnishings in a rental in this price range.Both couch's were not comfortable at all,kitchen stools and dining chairs were also cheap and not comfortable.Hot tub was low water and top was held down by a rock.The master closet and the bedroom next to master were connected so no privacy.Main floor bathroom tile and grout was bad looking. The lot and river were awesome, we had fun but did not expect those things we listed in this price range.

We had a very good stay, the location was great,close to town but quiet. The river flowing in the backyard was especially nice. The house was very clean and has some excellent features such as the game room in the basement. A couple things do warrant some improvement: one fireplace was not operational and the nonstick skillets in the kitchen need replaced.

We loved our stay here! The river on the property was my favorite! The hot tub and all the games and entertainment were added bonuses. We woke up to a large herd of elk one of the mornings, which was enjoyable to watch. We come to Estes a couple times a year and will definitely be staying here again!

The TVs upstairs does not have cable service, fireplace did not work, the TX downstairs have very limited channels. only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom is provided. Essentially the place is being rented out based upon the location. The grounds are not clean or mainitained along with many windows not able to open. The bathrooms are on two separate floors three rooms using one bathroom on the main floor. Would not recommend this to anyone of older age with the spiral staircase. Good for a 4-5 person family with teenagers.

The reason for a three star review, and not lower, is the amount of wildlife that we encountered at the house. While in a convenient location for both Estes Park and RMNP, this property is poorly maintained. The front bedroom, which is right by the front door and adjacent to the living room has no door handle, meaning the door can not close and inhibits privacy. Additionally, this same bedroom shares a closet with the second bedrooom. There is not partition between the two. Essentially, it can be used as a secret passage way to sneak between the two bedrooms. The closet doors of bedroom one have large gaps between them, so that even when slid closed, you can see into the bedroom from the hallway between bedroom two and the bathroom. or simply from bedroom two. The fireplace does not work. The roll out awning for the top deck does not work. There are no curtains to cover the upstairs or downstairs sliding glass doors, so again, lack of privacy. There is no pool table as listed in the description. The ping pong paddles are all ripping apart. The PacMan joystick is broken, so that table can not be played. On our final day there, we went downstairs to discover water on the PacMan game table and floor. We could not find where the leak had come from. I messaged Alex about it and did not receive a response for over eight hours, after we were gone. Basically, he thanked us for helping ensure that he property stayed well-maintained. (Laughable.) Extremely overcharging!

Beautiful location!

Could not ask for a more stunning location, just outside of Estes Park on a river. We enjoyed sitting on the large porch watching humming birds get their breakfast and dinner. The house is spacious, comfy beds but the sofa was less comfy. The house has seen some wear and a few small things were broken but nothing that took away from our ability to enjoy ourselves. I did send a note to the property manager using the Vrbo app about a broken fireplace and never got a response, again not a deal breaker but it was odd that no one responded. If you love nature, book this house and you will not be disappointed. If you are looking for luxury this house may not live up to your expectations.

Relaxing Location

Overall the house is nice and clean. We did encounter quite a few broken things in house like microwave handle fell off, door handle on bottom sliding door not there, cupboard in kitchen missing a cabinet door, all windows in bedrooms either have broken handles for opening or don't open at all, upstairs bathroom window in shower should get some privacy film or something. Awning over top deck doesn't work to roll out for shade. We reported the list of items with issues to the owner so they could fix for next occupants. Owner was very responsive and said he would look into the issues. The location is great - within 15 min walking distance to town. The sound of the river right next to house is amazing! Beds were comfortable and house was clean. Overall nice stay!

Prime location and Plenty to enjoy!

We loved our stay! It is located close to RMNP and downtown Estes! This place offers many activities to hangout and relax after spending a day in the park. It was very clean and did not run into any issues with check in or check out.

Great location, clean, large, fun home! Beware of ice and odd door locking system.

Great location!! Beautiful Fall River off deck. Loved the home, updated nicely, comfy beds. But, lacking on blinds in windows, especially no blind or “frost” in the main floor shower?! One complaint is we never could get the door code to work to unlock the front door. Luckily (or planned we aren’t sure) they left the back sliding door unlocked. Every time we left we had to leave the back sliding door unlocked, and then when we got home we had to go around the house to get in and open up the front door. Also no one scooped that side of the house walkway and it was an icy mess. Spiral staircase got 3 of us, but we learned. Cable tv never did work. But was perfect location near town and a great home for our family of 5 with plenty of extra space. Kids loved pac man.

Best spot in the area!

The house is so comfortable for our family of 6- 4 adults and 2 kids. Thanks for all of the cool games to keep the kids entertained!! The location is perfect - close to town, 15min walk. The view to the river is beautiful.

Nearly right off the deck river fishing: Elk galore; very short walking distance to Estes; house games a plenty: nice rooms; clean and updated facility; and one powerful hot tub!
