When I checked in the guy "helping" me wasn't welcoming and the exchange was awkward. He had me swipe my card. Which was already in his system. The room was decent. I've always stayed at this hotel on this holiday. The entire evening there was another guest who stayed directly above my room stomping and falling on the floor for hours. I couldn't rest. I heard thumping most of the night. In the morning the cleaning lady knocked so hard on the door next to me I jumped up out of my sleep to answer the door. She apologized and said she wasn't knocking on my door. I chose to check out hours early. Since I was woken up. I go to check out the woman states lets see what you owe. Which I had already paid in advance. I get home and notice an extra charge on my card. I've never been charged that before. There's a deposit and parking fee which was already taken out. So the additional charge was an error. I called the hotel the woman states the charge came from the third party I used to book the hotel. I contacted hotels.com they verified it wasnt a charge on their end. I called DoubleTree back and let them know. The charge on my credit card states DoubleTree. After speaking to a manager he was able to locate the extra charge. He stated the charge was reversed. But its still not eflecting it was reversed on my bank account. The hotel did apologize for the extra charge. I will no longer stay there. Very disappointed! I expected better for the price of the room. A horrible hotel experience!

Room was clean an staff were very friendly. They had a coulpe of events here. It was busy but the staff were great. Nothing that I wouldnt expect during the holiday season. All in all, a great stay. They are renovating right now, so there is no buffet. Order from menu Only. Which we did not know till we went down from breakfast. We were not told when we checked in.

I've stayed at this hotel many times for the Thanksgiving weekend. This is the first year that I have had to pay for parking in the deck behind the hotel. I'm not clear if it is the hotel parking lot, but I was charged $17.50 to stay overnight. I wish this had been made clear when I booked as the room might not have seemed such a bargain. When I inquired about it I was told that they are now charging to park and that there were two free parking lots/decks within walking distance. Please add that info to your website for the mobility impaired!

The DoubleTree was conveniently located near the Victory Theater where we were attending an event. The hotel had ample parking ($17/night) and clean and well appointed rooms. Staff were courteous and competant. Service was good, nothing above and beyond, but satisfactory

Room was fine clean and the amenities were good. The problem was the check in time and the check out time . Rooms should be ready at the check in time otherwise maybe you all need to change the check out time to earlier like 10 or 11 at the latest Having 10 minutes to get ready to be somewhere at 5 was not a pleasant experience. There were so many people waiting for rooms at check in time. Maybe more housekeeping staff is needed or if you know you have this many people checking in then that many people have to be gone Do appreciate the manager switching my room type. I really did not care what kind of room I had long as it was clean and ready to go at check in. I just had a couple options online to choose from
