My wife noted the shower flooring and drain area was not clean and did not want to shower there. I would suggest pressure washing and possibly resurfacing the shower areas.

We really enjoyed staying at this Fairfield Inn. The room was clean, up to date, and perfect for my wife and myself. The "hot breakfast" was great and all the personnel was so kind and helpful. We will recommend it to anyone!

The hotel is located in a rural, quiet area that is one exit away from the Poarch Creek Indian Reservation. There are a handful of fast food restaurants, other hotels, convenience stores, and the Wind Creek Casino Hotel within walking distance. I really loved the approximately 1/2 mile paved walking/biking path that runs around a small lake that is outside the side door of the hotel. The hotel staff were courteous, and check-in went smoothly. I would have given a higher rating, but our room had not been thoroughly cleaned. There was trash in the trashcan and some type of residue on the bathroom floor. In the morning there was a puddle on the floor near the toilet, but we could not tell where the water was coming from, and we reported the maintenance issue to the staff as we were checking out.

Cheryl was amazing at check-in! She was very helpful. We usually don't complain, but we were surprised that housekeeping didn't open the bags for the garbage cans. They just hung the bags on the cans. And there were only two sheets of kleenex in the box. Not properly replenished. I booked the room for three adults. There were only two wash rags.
