My friend and I had a great stay at this cottage! The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals, the rooms were super cute and comfortable, and the outdoor area was so lovely for just sitting outside and relaxing. We also loved the outdoor fire pit. Rebecca and Michael were amazing hosts. I would absolutely come back for another stay here, and highly recommend it to anyone else!

By far the best VRBO I have ever stayed in. Rebeca and Michael were terrific! Everything was clean and well taken care of. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in the area. Their house is across a courtyard area, but you would have never known. The privacy and quietness made the stay that much better! Highly recommend!

A Hidden Gem in the Mountains!

Fairview Secret Garden Guest Cottage is truly a slice of heaven in the heart of North Carolina. The location is absolutely perfect — private and peaceful, yet still close enough to everything you need. We loved the walkability to the local small brewery, which gave the trip an extra fun touch. The views are stunning, and the cottage itself offers just the right mix of comfort and seclusion. It felt like our own little retreat, tucked away from the world. The patio space was so peaceful and I could have sat outside looking at the mountain in the distance for hours. What really sets this place apart, though, are the hosts. They were the most gracious and welcoming people — available when we needed them, but always respectful of our privacy. You can tell they truly care about their guests’ experience.We’ll absolutely be back to this magical North Carolina escape. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful, scenic getaway with all the right touches!

Best Hosts Ever and a perfectly lovely cottage

These are the best hosts that VRBO could have. They have thought of every detail and go above and beyond to make their cottage and your stay the best possible. Super clean, new and well appointed with extra nice additions in every room. Healthy tea selection, spices, and staples in the fully complete kitchen. Cozy fireplaces in the living room and bedroom. Super comfy bed and quiet location. Beautiful patio and garden, firepit and bbq. If you need ANYTHING, the hosts are right next door and happy to provide or help in any way.

Lovely Rental

Pros for the rental: Completely clean Very comfortable with nice warm lamps and comfortable couches Well stocked kitchen - coffee and snacks! Nice beds (wonderful box fan!!) Fantastic courtyard and garden, with vegetables available to eat! Hooks - I love to be able to hang everything up to either air or dry. Very friendly and accommodating hosts who are just next door so are available if needed, or will leave you alone if not. Location 20 mins to Chimney Rock - our favorite hiking place Cons: NONE! Rebecca and Michael were lovely hosts. Rebecca even brought over additional books when I asked about waterfalls. There is so much good information provided, in the rental, including a hand drawn map showing where the local coffee shop and grocery shops are. Sitting in the courtyard, you do feel like you're in an oasis, though it would be easy to get just about everything you need within a short walk or a short drive (Dollar General a few mins away by car for items beyond a grocery store). I enjoyed the feel of the rental, with its beautiful floor, controllable track lighting and warm lamps. Also enjoyed that the surfaces were available for use, not cluttered. Thanks so much for a lovely stay!

Perfect space and location

This has been my favorite place to stay in the Asheville area. The hosts went above and beyond to make my sister and me feel welcome and comfortable. The back patio area was a perfect spot to relax and unwind after a busy day. It’s a short drive to downtown Asheville, Black Mountain, Biltmore, and much more! Quick family get away

What a lovely setting to spend some time away. Very spacious guest house, lovely beds & linens plus a well stocked kitchen. The highlight was the gorgeous covered patio…The most amazing spot for morning coffee!!! Delightful hosts!
