The Villa is located close to well known beaches such us, Kalamaki with the impressive beach appropriate for kite surfing, Matala where you will have the opportunity to see how the 'hippies' used to live inside the caves in the decades of 70' and Komos, with the impressive long beach, where you will have the chance to observe the sea turtle (Caretta caretta) track on a beach. Agiofarago gorge is also nearby and worth visiting. Finally in the area you can find high quality traditional Cretan food, where you can taste the local products.
