Fanø Bad is the widest sandy beach in Denmark and is right on the doorstep! You couldn't wish for a better location. You will stay in the individually furnished apartments in a larger complex in Fanø Bad. Here you will completely relax and enjoy the relaxed island life on Fanø. Table football, air hockey and outdoor table tennis are shared. You are also in the right place for active holidays. The only golf links course in Denmark is next door, with hole 18 being the nearest neighbour to the complex. You can also play tennis here. The white sandy beach provides a wonderful backdrop for kite flying, windsurfing, horse riding, beach sailing, walking and, of course, sunbathing. Amber is regularly washed up on the water's edge and it is permitted to drive on the beach by car. Your children can use the nearby playground or mini golf course. In summer, the indoor play area at Rødgård Camping Centre in Rindby is available free of charge. The forest playground on the way to Sønderho also provides many hours of fun, where you can also enjoy the picnic basket you have brought with you. Sønderho has a charming atmosphere. Stroll through the narrow, winding streets, which are home to cosy eateries and good shops. Nordby also has a good selection of shops and cafés and is bustling in the summer. In both towns, artists create a unique atmosphere with their galleries and open workshops. Fanø is located in the middle of the Wadden Sea National Park and is particularly suitable for cycling and hiking with its topography and fantastic nature. On guided walks you can see birds, oyster beds, sandbanks with seals and many other specialities of Fanø. Experiencing the tides in the mudflats is a particularly beautiful experience.
