Kick back and relax in this calm, modern and stylish space—perfect for a peaceful mountain getaway.

Sunflower Cottage is a brand-new rental, thoughtfully built in 2023, nestled on two private acres of serene country living with stunning mountain views.

Enjoy the fully enclosed backyard, complete with a barbecue grill, utensils, outdoor dining table and chairs, and a cozy gas fire pit—perfect for starry nights and fresh mountain air.

Surrounded by nature, you’ll find plenty of nearby hiking and biking trails. We’re ideally located for exploring some of Arizona’s most breathtaking destinations, including the Grand Canyon, Snowbowl, Sedona, and Lake Mary.

Please note: We’re situated just off a dirt road, adjacent to the highway for convenient access. Starting in March, the County will be conducting road and front yard drainage improvements to enhance the property’s accessibility.

For your security, this property is equipped with external security cameras.

One of the nicest VRBO rentals we have stayed in. Super clean, well stocked with coffee, tea, condiments, spices and ziplock bags! Comfortable beds, kitchen has every thing you could want to cook, lush bath towels and beautiful country views. We did have trouble finding the entrance off the main road, due to road construction the street sign was gone- and at night it was hard to see as no street lights in the country. A note to light sleepers, there was road noise close to the house.

The Sunflower Cottage is a true gem, the perfect weekend getaway anytime! It is incredibly well appointed, extremely clean and beds are very comfortable. It is well stocked in the bathrooms and kitchens. The back patio is the perfect place to hang out and enjoy a meal or evening drink!

Beyond Expectations

The Sunflower Cottage was the absolute perfect getaway we needed to escape the desert heat here in Tucson. We could not believe how clean and well kept this cottage was. Although we brought our own condiments and spices, etc.,there was really no need as Regina & Dave had stocked everything so well. The Mountain View from the back fenced yard is outstanding and as a special treat on the morning we left there were five bull elk feeding just outside of the fence. If you are considering a trip to the Flagstaff area and need a homebase that is pretty much as good as it gets… Look no further. The Sunflower Cottage will not disappoint. Regina And Dave, thank you so, so much for the perfect getaway.

The comfiest beds!

The Sunflower cottage was lovely! It was clean and had the absolute comfiest beds we’ve ever had at a vacation rental! There is a gas stove which I loved and they had extra things like ziplock bags and spices which helped out a lot. It’s right off the highway which is convenient and we’d stay again.

The cottage was absolutely perfect and fully furnished with everything you could need. It was centrally located to everything you would want to do in that part of Arizona. There is currently some construction going on near the front of the house but that did not change the stunning view of the fully equipped backyard to relax in. The beds are the comfiest beds we have ever stayed at on top of that. It is the perfect home away from home and my wife and I loved staying at this cottage!

Arizona Adventure

The location of this adorable cottage is perfect for those visiting the Grand Canyon, Sedona, Route 66, and all the towns, sights and experiences in the area. The cottage was immaculately clean, well-stocked and tastefully decorated. The one and only negative was the government project going on in the front yard. This is certainly not the fault of the owners, but I hope its completed next time I visit! I will definitely be back.

Grand Canyon and all the parks!

We stayed in Flagstaff as our base camp for all of our site seeing and this place was perfect! Right off of the main road and we did not have to get in city traffic to go most of the places we went, which, was a major bonus for us. This house is the true definition of home away from home. The host have supplied this house with all of the things you need and even some of them you didn’t think about. We thought we would buy a cheap little cooler when we got there to pack drinks and sandwiches, nope, there is one there to use that is perfect. There was an umbrella, ice scraper (thank goodness we didn’t need that). So many little things that added up to saving us so much money not having to buy them for a week long trip(salt,pepper,flour,sugar,spices,etc) This is absolutely the best VRBO I have stayed in!!!

Clean and Easy Access

This property was perfect for our two night stay in Flagstaff. The location allowed for easy highway access for our one-day trip to Page, AZ. The property was clean and a great view of the mountains.

Perfect Cottage with Breathtaking View

The cottage was amazing with a breathtaking view of the snow capped mountains!! It is conveniently located near Flagstaff and Grand Canyon but had an out-of-town feel. There was a sufficient amount of linens for our entire stay, and the kitchen was well stocked with all the utensils and pots/pans needed. The hosts were close enough to help if needed, but they didn’t bother us. We arrived a little early, and they allowed us to check in with no problem. I HIGHLY recommend this property!!
