Really the only thing this property has going for it is location. Across from the Mcmennamins Grand Lodge. Fast food and coffee close by also. That being said, although the updated lobby looks nice as well as the view of the pool (which is closed and has been for well over a year). The rooms lack in almost every way. The plumbing leaks so wet carpet, matress is comfortable but larger than the base so not ideal. No clocks.The overly worn velour-like chair had rips and slices all over it and the icing on the cake was the lock for the window was broken off. We have stayed over night here before and basically knew what to expect although there was "remodeling" going on the last time and was hopeful for improved rooms. We will stay again if our first choice is booked, but this description will hopefully prep others for the reality of this property.

Overall, my stay was satisfactory. However, I was not given the room I had already reserved AND paid for. I was told, "Too bad, but another person came in, wanted that type of room, and agreed to the pay full price for tonight. You'll just have to arrive earlier next time." The room i was given was clean enough--on the surface; but it had an extra bed, so did not have the type chair i really needed for my extended stay.

Clean, friendly staff. Toilet seat loose. No shelves in refrigerator. Only one outlet for guest in whole room(at sink). Curtains too small to keep out light and heal up with bent paper clip. Wouldn't stay. TV screen faded with 28 white spots screen. Generally poor fit and finish through halls and lobby, Entry door handle missing The place is poorly maintained. We canceled our second stay.

All of the advertsed facilities were down and had been for quite some time (pool, hot tub, laundry room) and the rooms were mostly clean but were missing some things like light covers, drain covers, etc.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I only needed a place to sleep each night as I was there for a wedding. I appreciated being able to prepare coffee in the room, use the microwave and frig. The only suggestion - larger bath towels.

Very disappointed! We were both expecting and told there was not only a pool but also a work out room and both were completely shut down. We even asked when we arrived and they said yes, the pool is fine and open until 11pm when in fact it had been closed due to orbies in the filters from children days before and paint particles in the pool from there “remodel”. Again, extremely disappointed especially paying 153$ for one night and nothing to do for my kids. If we would have known before booking we would have went somewhere else!

OK for the price, but a lot to be desired

The check in was efficient. A little disappointing that the pool was not operational on such a hot day. Also, the hot tub was dirty and not operational, which was the entire reason for booking. A bit dated but that was too be expected for the price.
