Old motel that has been updated very nicely. I like these old motels where I can park right outside my door. Everything here worked.

Room was Adequate and staff friendly & helpful. Downside was a toilet too low and very small bathroom. More than 2 towels & 2 wash could have been better. We did pay a premium amount. However Beds were comfortable and room was big enough. Overall it was a nice overall stay.

Very good on the verge of Greatness

This property was very deceptive. The outside is a little rough around the edges with some shaggy landscaping and weathered exterior. That all went away when we opened the door to our room. The monster sized tv with all kinds of channels available, beautiful new flooring, and awesome night stands with outlets and hookups for devices and charging. There was a slight issue with chords not being plugged into outlets that needs to be addressed. The breakfast area was small but clean and well stocked with tasty food. The mountain view behind the property is amazing but is not really utilized. The RV hookup area is trashy and there are picnic tables but they are placed on the edge of the parking lot and aren't very inviting. The property has access to great views of the sunrise but nothing is set up for guests to enjoy them. This property reflects what we saw in the community a lot of unrealized potential. As I say that I don't want it to end up like the Hill Country where everyday people get priced out of the opportunity to enjoy this beautiful natural beauty.

Shower head is loose inside wall. You can't keep the water off the shower floor. Okay if you like standing in soggy towels. Front Door won't seal allowing bugs inside the room. Fly paper hanging in room.
