My recent stay at the Vila Galé Sunset Cumbuco offered a mixed experience. As a new establishment, it certainly has its strengths, but there are also areas that could significantly improve. The staff were consistently polite and helpful, which is always a highlight and contributes positively to the overall atmosphere. The accommodation style is quite unique, with guest rooms located in standalone houses, each containing four separate apartments. This provides a sense of privacy that many guests will appreciate. However, the design of these houses presents some practical issues. The access areas to the rooms lack doors, which means they are prone to flooding during rain. This was a significant inconvenience during my stay and clearly needs to be addressed. Additionally, while the rooms themselves were comfortable, the pillows could definitely be improved for a more restful sleep. When it came to amenities and dining, I found the options to be quite limited. There were few choices for amenities, and the lunch options were particularly scarce. For a hotel of this caliber, a greater variety in both these areas would greatly enhance the guest experience. Overall, the Vila Galé Sunset Cumbuco shows promise as a new hotel with a dedicated staff and an interesting room layout. However, addressing the design flaws in the room access and expanding the amenity and dining options would undoubtedly elevate it to a much higher standard.

Instalações excelentes (quarto, piscina, SPA, etc.), localização perfeita entre a praia e uma bela lagoa. Mas serviços muito ruins para o que se espera de um Vila Galé Collection. Erro no checkin (quarto diferente do reservado) e demora para resolver já causaram uma primeira impressão ruim. Faltou sorvete, água de côco, e sobretudo pessoal para atender aos hóspedes. Poucos garçons, sem serviço de praia, recepção não atende o telefone, camareiras confusas, beira o caos. Por falta de orientação e vigilância na praia sofremos um acidente com o guarda-sol na praia com um ferimento na cabeça que poderia ter sido grave. À gastronomia não é ruim, mas esteve muito abaixo do esperado para a categoria do hotel. Enfim, não pretendo voltar a qualquer hotel da rede.

O hotel é muito bonito e tem uma ótima decoração. As piscinas são boas e ele é pé na areia mesmo. Porém, há alguns problemas como o box do banheiro encher quando toma banho, o que é nem anti higienico. O café da manhã estava com poucas opções, bem longe de ser um café da manhã de Resort. Acho que precisa melhorar.

Hotel novo, atendimento muito bom, falamos que era aniversário de casamento e ganhamos um vinho e também fizeram late check out e nosso quarto era vista para o mar e piscina. O que não gostei foi do atendimento do jantar, pedimos um entrada e demorou muito e no café da manhã faltou café mas logo fizeram outro, são pontos que precisam melhorar.

O restaurante do hotel não dispunha de diversos itens, mesmo com o cardápio restrito. Na nossa segunda noite no hotel, pedimos um hambúrguer. Fomos informados que não havia carne. Pedimos um macarrão à bolonhesa e a resposta foi: ‘Sr. Não há carne no restaurante.’ Diante disso, pedimos uma pizza. Nós foi informado que não havia a massa. O hotel estava vazio. Fico imaginando como um hotel que se autodenomina luxuoso e paradisíaco, não dispõe de itens básicos de cozinha. Estávamos com um bebê. O berço oferecido pelo hotel devia ter algumas décadas. Totalmente antiquado. A trava de segurança do berço era cortante e ficava para dentro. Ou seja, o bebe, além de se cortar, poderia destravar o equipamento. Outro ponto sem sentido é que há 700 espreguiçadeiras no hotel, viradas para a praia, mas a praia está totalmente bloqueada, pois há um muro ecológico tampando a vista. Enfim. Fora isso, as instalações do hotel são bem confortáveis.
